Re: No vario tones in modded FlySky 9x
I have a line in custom functions: CS1 [Vario] Custom Switches: CS1 a<x Thr -95 The vario line in custom functions goes bold when I close the throttle. Re play altitude every 100ft, I thought there was a custom switch that looked like this: a ??? x Alt 100 So for every change in Altitude of +/- 100 ...

Question re mixer screen
Have just upgraded an original Taranis from Rev 28xx to 2.0.13 I notice a change on the mixer screen I can't find in the manual. When I create a new model, the first 4 channels are setup. I see for example CH1 100 I Thr My query is the capital i between 100 and Thr If I create a new mix, it's not th...

Compatability question. (vario and D4R-II)
Hi, I have (had) a FlySky 9x with the Frsky telementry mod, and the mega9x sound card also. Since purchasing my Taranis, I no longer use it, so have passed it on to a friend. He would like to get into thermal soaring, with variometer and altitude information. My question is can you use the new Frysk...

Re: Curves with variable coefficient!
I do something similar to fine tune Throttle to elevator mixing. I set uo a custom function to Adjust GV2 with TrimT (could use any GV) Throttle doesn't use throttle trim, as electric motor. Then I add a second line to the elevator, source Thr, weight GV2 In this instance, I set up a 3 point curve, ...

Launch is throttle on throttle stick, outboard ailerons only, down flaps with up elevator. center throttle (beeps on...

Many thanks again.
Because the voice file was there, I assumed it was supported
So I think I have finally reached the end of this journey to get my Flysky to talk to me.
(Until it does something unexpected).

Re: Looking for link to correct voice pack for open tx r2940
The problem is that the file isn't missing, it's there. It's file number 0495. So either R2940 doesn't have the system message 'Trim Center', or it expects it to be a different number, but I don't know which.

I notice it doesn't say trim centre like my Taranis does.
The file is there, it's 0495.
Any thoughts?

Re: Looking for link to correct voice pack for open tx r2940
Yay, that's the one.
At least the welcome message, throttle warning, switch warning and inactivity alarm work.
So there is a good chance the others are also correct.
Many thanks again
Robert

Re: Looking for link to correct voice pack for open tx r2940
I was originally asking about R 2490, but I had already tried that voice pack in 2490 and it was also wrong.
So decided to try the most up to date pack instead.
The files on that link are dated April 2013.
Is there anyway I can view the source code, and work out the numbers for myself ?

If the correct voice pack is not out there, is there any way I can get to see the source code, so I can work out how the files should actually be numbered, and create a correct version of the voice pack ?

Re: Open TX voice and Pot 3 problem on stock Flysky
the pot that works behaves as you describe, the one that doesn't have 5 volts between the outer terminals, but voltage on center doesn't change.
Left pot worked with both sets of 3 wires, right pot worked with neither.

ok, progress of a sort. have extended the wires to the two pots on the top of the case, and then swooped the wires now they are long enough, one pot to the other. When I put it back together, it's still the pot at the top right that seems dead, stuck at 100% ( now the channel attached to pot 1 doesn...
