Re: Parallel Programmer with EEPE?
The main problem with parallel ports programmer is the access to the parallel port itself.

Re: Screen shots of the new companion9x
@wallaguest1: Are you speaking about simulator bars ? They move rather smoothly here. But I'm running next release (0.32), and a lot has changed in simulator interface. In this release you will find also joystick support, you will be able to move sticks using the radio using a cheap USB rc simulator...

Re: Joystick interface in companion9x
About the idea of simulating a whole model, it's far beyond companion9x aims and probably above my programming skills. First It's very difficult to reproduce "your own" model, parts movement are not only conditioned by programming but also by mechanics. Leverages, servo orientation, servo ...

Re: Suggestion: Firmware upgrade button
Indeed can be a good idea to implement your suggestion as an option during flashing of a firmware.
Maybe a checkbox like: restore actual eeprom...
What do you think about ?
EDIT: already implemented in SVN as an option in burndialog:
Backup and restore existing eeprom

Re: Screen shots of the new companion9x
i am not sure but maybe what i see was this: try to open the simulator with any alarm on it, like switch alarm, while the alarm shows up in the virtual LCD and you dont press any button, CPU is at 100% fulltime, and while that, if you click the designed backlight switch, it just don't work until al...

Re: Building companion9x
I like to have a paper backup of all models programmed (18 so far!). The printout looks a bit tidier than eepe, but could we have the Date included. JJ I have added date & time to printouts, and already committed it. Checkout and build or wait for the upcoming 0.30 version under Windows. Regard...

Re: Screen shots of the new companion9x
Ok on the button display. It's OK I just wanted to note that for a first timer it doesn't stand out as a feature. Mentioning it in the help menu later will help those that read it if it's needed. As for the capture options, the OS capture options are again something that many have never used except...

Re: Screen shots of the new companion9x
