Re: OpenTX 2.1 telemetry system preview
Have reflashed the board and tried various other things but it seems there is nothing being output to the Receiver. I wonder if anyone else in the forum is using 2.1.7, Flip32 and the D4r-ii combo? UPDATE - Happy to report SUCCESS! Part of the set up on the Naze/Flip 32 requires a CLI command to inv...

Re: OpenTX 2.1 telemetry system preview
Thanks for the reply Kilrah. I have been testing with the board armed so will have to check it over carefully again. I saw some comments on the net that Baseflight sometimes is better for certain setups than the Cleanflight software. The other thing I have not tried it to only use the green data wir...

Re: Help with Pixhawk 280 and EEPE request
I have the Open Tx 2.17 on my Taranis. I mentioned the D4R - ii because it can output PPM, not that I know too much about all of this at the moment as I just starting reading about multirotors and the electronics yesterday.

Re: Looking for idiots guide to update TX module in Taranis
Just want to ask what is the easiest way currently for me to upgrade the XJT module and several receiver type D series and X8r? Taranis is from the first generation, and with Open TX 2.05 on it at present. I don't mind starting over with telemetry settings etc as it's been so long since I last used ...

Thought I do a Spitfire splash screen, first attempt ever at a splash screen…left some room if you wish to add a pilot name etc. Also produced a "tada" spitfire fly-by sound. Not sure if this is the correct thread for it but if not MODS please move or delete it. You will need to extract th...

Re: Help - Trainer Switch actuates throttle
Had a great afternoon's flying, the first day outdoors this year and the first real test of the Taranis for me after setting up lots of extras. I think I actually made more progress on the programming side today than I have ever done. Telemetry worked a treat, great to get a warning when time to lan...

Re: Help - Trainer Switch actuates throttle
Thanks Mike, I found the trainer menu in CS9 and changed them all to 1,2,3,4 as you go down the list but it still stayed the same. I'll play around with it later but for now I decided that today is the day I need to "go solo" and the weather is looking favourable for my "interesting&q...

Thanks for the replies, will take a look tomorrow after some shut eye .
Think I probably failed to save the EEprom last time so maybe the channel order was mixed up as it did work when I set it up initially.

Help - Trainer Switch actuates throttle
Firstly, apologies for not posting in the general model forum but the POST NEW TOPIC button does not appear :( I can't figure out what I have done wrong but I have set up a basic model (Funcub Buddy) to allow a Spektrum Dx6i to act as slave. I tested it and all seemed OK but I have done something wr...

There are several other fixes in the RCG hardware hacks thread. Will not link to the pages here just in case it is not permitted, but I am going to try the shielded cable mod as it looks easier (for old boys with bad eyesight) than the cap mods :) I will try thin coaxial cable such as RG 179 or 174 ...

Doesn't seem to make any difference to the calibration, just that the numbers don't zero.

Help with calibrating Buddy box sticks
I have set up the trainer function on my Taranis with a Spektrum dx6i as the slave. Mapped across the sticks and all looks fine, All the stick movements on the trainer correspond correctly with the numbers on the bottom of the Taranis display. My problem is when I try to set the calibration as per t...
