Re: Taranis X9D Plus & Windows 8.1 Problems
And? Do as Kilrah said "select FrSky Taranis Bootloader, Remove device and tick Uninstall Driver" then "Disconnect USB cable and reconnect, Windows will reinstall the correct default driver." Unbenannt.JPG Not to be ungrateful, but we did this. As I posted above, Did this, same ...

I'm waiting on my friend to get me the screenshot, but below USB-Controller is another node to the tree, I believe "USB Devices" or something like that, and that's where a single item: FrSky Taranis Bootloader

Taranis X9D Plus & Windows 8.1 Problems
I've setup my Taranis on 3 different Windows 7 machines now with minimal problems, my buddy got his today and we are having problems connecting to WIndows 8.1. From my machine I flashed the Taranis to 2.0.15 and loaded my profiles and updated the SDCard accordingly... at least I thought I did. Power...

Re: Buddy Box/Trainer Questions
After some testing smoothing it isn't needed and your thoughts are spot on. I also dropped the +/- 25 down to +/- 5 so training mode goes away on minimal stick movement.

Re: Buddy Box/Trainer Questions
OK, I've got this working and it's as slick as I could ever ask for. Going to share the configuration here because I'm a firm believer in asking a question and making sure you share a complete answer if it's figured out :). I also have to replicate all this on my other models, so it's good to go thr...

Re: Buddy Box/Trainer Questions
I actually tried mixing in TR1-4 directly in the mixer (Edit: Actually on the "Input" tab, not the mixes tab) and couldn't get that to work. I'll screw around with that some more once I'm home.
I'll give it a try using the inputs instead of just "Rud" as well.

Re: Buddy Box/Trainer Questions
This is my trainer config, the behavior was consistent across Rud/Ele/Ail and Thr which is configured as a replacement instead of additive.

Re: Buddy Box/Trainer Questions
I think I'm 2.0.15, when I got the radio last month I got prompted for an update the first few days and I did so (Since I had nothing to lose) every time. I had the logicals: Capture.JPG SG^ is trainer disabled. SG- is trainer, I keep throttle. SGv is trainer, trainee gets throttle. The 0.2 delay wa...

Re: Buddy Box/Trainer Questions
You would need to use a logical switch (or several) to detect your stick movements, The problem I ran into was that the stick movements were impacted by the buddy box. I had it setup so with trainer active the Slave could move sticks, but if I exceeded 25+/- with EITHER Slave or Master then trainer...

Buddy Box/Trainer Questions
Buddy/Trainer Inputs & Local stick positions? Is it possible to read the local stick positions (Thr, Rud, Ail, Ele) while the trainer mode is active? I'd like to enable trainer off a switch, but if I move my sticks away from center (or -100 for throttle) I'd like trainer to turn off. I have the...

Re: X9D Plus, Naze32, D8R & Telemetry Woes
Son of a ******.
I had the naze cable reversed. Plugged it in right, VFas shows 12.0.
Under user data I set voltage source to FAS and cell/cells just started populating. However both show 3.9v instead of cells showing 12v as I'd expect.

Vfas returns 0.
That said A1 still returns voltage with my naze32 unplugged which confirms I'm not getting voltage on A1 from the naze.

X9D Plus, Naze32, D8R & Telemetry Woes
So I'm new to these forums and the world of RC, I've spent the past couple of weeks building a quadcopter and getting it built and have one issue I can't seem to work out on my own. I can't get Telemetry to monitor my battery accurately to save my life. Equipment is Taranis X9D Plus, Naze32 running ...

Dear god I wish I had found this page when I was trying to get this issue solved! Instead I muddled through it and got the same results in probably 3x the time it should have taken!
