Re: "Delay" on low bat of telemetry
You don't say how you are measuring the onboard voltage. I'll refer to your battery voltage source as XXX here. YOu will need to use the corect name (e.g. A2, A2, Vfas) for the correct source you are using. Using er9x, I would suggest the following: Set a custom switch: L1: V<ofs XXX 14.1 Now set a...

"Delay" on low bat of telemetry
Hi guys. I love the firmware but one thing I can't get my head around is how to constrain the voltage warnings so that the voltage has to be under a certain threshold for at least "this time". I fly small fast quadcopters and the battery goes low each time I make a punch out, roll, etc. Th...

Re: Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
I can assure they fit the 9x radio ;) I have a pair installed on one of my 9x radios :) It seems the one with amp is no longer available. Mine are amplified.. João Good to know. Also that it does not matter which batch I get, with or without AMPs. Plaid around with the radio a little more and somet...

Re: Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
Yes the frsky taranis gimbals fit the 9x. And they are not so expensive.. João Thank you for the advice. I have ordered a pair now. Will post here with the results. Seems like a good upgrade and as you said there is info around that they fit the 9X. Seem to be two versions out there though, one wit...

Re: Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
I think you will need to open up the radio and check the pots. One possibility is the pot body is not staying fixed. This is not a problem we have seen particularly before. Mike. I sure will. Would be nice if it is an easy fix and no further need to examine. I guess the pots can get worn out and ne...

Re: Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
The starting place is the screen with ANA in the top left corner. These are the actual values of the stick positions. We need to know if they drift away from 0 at all. If they stay at 0, then at least the sticks are being read correctly and we will need to look further "down the line". If...

Re: Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
Please zero all the offsets, then zero all the trims. Then go to the screen from my post above, with the numbers.. Then move the sticks to both ends and then back slowly to centre. Take note of the numbers for the Ail and Ele sticks, and post them here please. João EDIT: I just saw Mike and I poste...

Re: Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
To check the stick values, go to the DiagAna display (from the main screen, LONG LEFT then UP to highlight DiagAna, then MENU). For mode 2 (pitch/roll on right stick), A3 is the pitch stick and A4 is the roll. The stick position is shown in two forms, the first is an internal (hexadecimal) value an...

Re: Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
That's not a trim, that is a mix offset which is something different even if it looks like it does the same.. Mike is talking about a MAIN SCREEN, not an edit menu. There is a main screen with some bars representing the channel positions, and there is another one with numbers. Have a look at the pi...

Re: Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
Do you have a switch configured for the "Instant Trim" function? One of the main screens on er9x shows the servo outputs as percentages from -100.0 to +100.0. Are these changing in the same way? Mike. I am not aware of the function you describe. I am adjusting the trims in this menu from ...

Pitch Trim readjusting itself. FrSky
It might be a hardware problem. Both pitch and roll keep changing their trims, mostly pitch. The behaviour is the same on two of the copters I have and maybe even on the third but it shows more on the others as I fly them in ACRO. Both machines are trimmed so that relaxed sticks are received at 1500...

Re: FrSky DJT with Bluetooth.
No, you'll need a separate, independent link for the mavlink part. Okay, too bad, then I see no point in this bluetooth bridge anymore unless I would do one inside the transmitter with the 3DR to bluetooth neatly integrated putting the extra antenna on the radio. What I was hoping for was to pull e...

Re: FrSky DJT with Bluetooth.
I loved the mod and would very much like to do something similar but I realised after a while you get only frsky telemetry while what I wanted was to get mavlink telemetry from APM. Maybe one of you know if it is possible to get full mavlink telemetry (or partial) through the frsky module so as to u...

Try this link: http://openrcforums.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_modify_your_9x_to_support_telemetry or click on "Visit the wiki" on the right of the page and look under hardware mods. Mike. Thanks Mike. I've read around the places you proposed and not much is specifically for the module I'm ...

Re: Internal connection to DJT
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and an owner to the TGY 9x who am just about to update to the DJT module. I've been trying to find good information on the web as how to connect telemetry but coming up empty handed until I fell over this thread. Unfortunately many of the links posted are broken so I wo...
