Re: ER9X Mixing to Control Hydraulic - Help Required
Thanks Mike, I'm 90% there so got CH9 and CH10 now setup and kill switch on ELE on CH8, so all working. Final bit I need is for CH8 to run soon as P3 is moved with CH5/6/7 in the neutral position. This is so P3 ESC on CH8 is maintaining a minimum pressure in the system for when CH5/6/7 is operated t...

Re: eepe Software and Telemetry Tab
Thanks Mike, Makes sense, I'll have a look in to this at the weekend when I have more time. I did try it with the antenna off the module which would reduce the power output but would increase the SWR so in theory would be more prone to interference?? To be honest couldn't notice much improvement in ...

Re: eepe Software and Telemetry Tab
Thanks João I will have a look for something different may be, any recommendations at all ? . Or I could may swap out the RX6R and put a X8R in there as they have never given a problem in the past, it is just the size. It will need Telemetry as I monitor the voltages via the Tx. Trust me I won't be ...

João I think you may have just worked this out. I've just tested again and it does only seem to happen when the Rx is up to approx 1.5 meters from the Tx, anything further and it seems OK, Is there any way to improve this though or just something I need to live it? Really I need to be close'ish to t...

Many thanks, I have all that side of things sorted now.
Also very random issue, I can't get into Model setup or radio setup screen.
If I remember right menu long from any of the 5 main screens? doesn't work for some reason!
Any ideas

This does work OK but to make it safer I would like to have P1 to only work if the Gear switch is on.
Is that possible ?

Yes it has with a 500 ohm resistor.
The 8XR have been set to mode 5 and mode 3 which I believe is correct.
Would get I Tssi info even if the 8XR was set wrong?
Cheers Steve

Re: 9XR & Frsky XJT Telemetry
Is there a way to tell what firmware level the XJT and X8R are on as I can't get this working. I also only have one X8R set to telemetry mode and the other is switched off...

Re: 9XR & Frsky XJT Telemetry
Right, had a little go this evening and it hasn't gone to well. I've soldered in the 2 wires from 41 & 42. This is direct to the chip. The other ends are too the 200ohm resistors on the pcb and then I've cut the 2 tracks. I've put in the 500ohm rf wire too. Each step was checked with a multi-met...

Re: 9XR & Frsky XJT Telemetry
Unlike to original 9X, the 9XR has an extra chip (U6 an MC14051B). The processor pins 41 and 42 are connected to this, and you will most likely find it easier to solder to this chip then the processor. Processor pin 41 is connected to U6 pin 11. Processor pin 42 is connected to U6 pin 10. Mike. Tha...

Thanks again Mike.
I'll take the back off tomorrow and have a look with the magnifying glass.
Just to be clear, 220ohms on pin 41 & 42 and then a 500ohm to the Rf board?
Cheers

Hi all, I'm after some guidance as I've been reading page after page of information on telemetry, but to be honest I've just confused the hell out of myself. I went with the FrSky XJT module using 2 X8R receivers, works a treat and was setup in minutes. Full 16 channels without any problems.
