Re: LUA on ersky9x

Joao, Do know of any LUA scripts for erSky9x on 9xtreme that have been posted? I need to just look at one to understand the programming syntax and commands.

Re: Using FrSky S6R with ersky9x

Setting up a wing seems to be inconsistent. I need help. I have setup two other wings, one with a S6R and the other with S8R. I have a new S8R that is giving me fits. I am obviously doing something wrong. I have used both Sportset and latest FrSky config programs. I have also updated the unit with t...

Could you switch to erSky9x? I think that it supports a rotary encoder. I don't use companion anymore so I do not know if it supports it or not.

Re: Taranis X9D+ and X8R lock-out and plane crash

I have an observation with two X8Rs. Both units lost signal (manifest by loss of control) at about 200 meters when making a fairly steep turn from downwind to base. I ordered and changed both antennas from the paddle pcb to Frsky's linear unipolar antennas. The problem was solved. I have since used ...

Sounds like Twilight Zone (if you guys are old enough to remember. I will do those mods to all five of my 9xtremes. If it saves one board it is worth it, since the 9Xtreme is no longer available.
Thanks again all.

Hooooooray!!! :D Thanks to Mike, Joao, and Kal(Klause), My 9Xtreme is fixed. The STM processor was the problem. I followed Klause's STM- DeFuse settings: http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=126&t=9679#p123655 , and used Mike's DFU file that he attached, http://openrcforums.com/forum/downlo...

Yes, Mike it did display 9xtreme on the screen and the VR did not get hot. So this points to the STM that had a short. I may need some help when it comes time to flash the chip (not sure how to work with Defuse from STM but will try to figure it out. Thanks for helping me diagnose the problem Mike, ...

Also Joao, I took the SD card out as you suggested and the vr still got hot. I sure hope that the new STM chip do...

I gave up trying to get the BNF version to bind to any of my dsmx, dsm2 or orange multi. I removed the Spectrum Rx replaced it with a X8R Rx. I used pwm jumpers to the FC. It works well. Stormister, Sounds like you are using too much heat. This maybe from too big of a tip or contact for too long. I would suggest looking on YouTube as there are many excellent videos on good soldering technique. You will need good flux and leaded solder. Pre tin both wire and pad. Load your small flat...

I confirmed this behavior on a m128( new ) with 9xtreme. It occours with pot 3 at minimum or maximum or any value in between. Monitoring on the Diagana page in hardware, if any value on pot 3 is positive then then value goes to -82 and stays there until further manipulation of pots 2 & 3. It then go...
