Correct that is what we have had to do. If another sensor is added then all sensors needed to be deleted and then discovers sensors again.

Frsky RB 10 telemetry slots error
Seeking some kind of solution. We have installed the RB 10 in a newly built Tug. There is a double count of sensors which I have noted on other threads. So there are 14 sensors and the auto detect arrives at 28. When we tried to add a GPS sensor we get the "all sensor slots full" error. Th...

Re: RE: TGY-i6S How can I reverse the running of 2 motors?
Hi, i'm making a priming boat for a project in my university. I'd like to move it with two brushless motors attached to two TGY Plush 6A speed controllers. I bought the TGY-i6S controller to regulate their speed and my question is: This radiocontroller can reverse the running of both motors somehow...

Re: RE: Re: Model ID issue
Agreed, my point is it shouldn't have let me do that. When you copy a model, it should generate a new model ID But you have given it a new identity because it has a new number on the model list You need to change the receiver number. That identifies the receiver to the TX. Whilst there is a short c...

Re: Model ID issue
Relates to the Rx number allocated to the receiver. When you copied the model you also copied the receiver number as well.

Re: Swopping from Spektrum to Taranis
You don't sound convinced. Frsky is very different and offers so many more features than any other system. You should get together with someone who owns Frsky equipment to see whether this what you really want. If you decide to switch then sell all your Spektrum equipment. They have a good re-sale v...

Problem solved. Removed and purged the package. Did a new install with the latest release and works 100%
Thank you for your input.
My only comment would be that it would be helpful if a md5 checksum was available for the files and then they could be checked for integrity.

Re: Companion 2; write model settings from Ubuntu problems

Re: Companion 2; write model settings from Ubuntu problems
Thanks rperkins. Tried the rmmod but it comes back with the module not present. Some of the details on this "bug" indicates that the cache applies to hard/optical drives that have a cache to aid faster write processes whereas flash memory has no cache. This may not be indicative of the pro...

Re: Companion 2; write model settings from Ubuntu problems
Are you properly "ejecting" the drive in the OS? Linux mount and un-mount (umount) devices. Under udev each device is given a unique identifier when mounted so in theory there should not be a problem in identifying the device. It has been apparent since I started using Companion that no u...

Re: Rx firmware flashing using Companion?
Rob, if your computer is up to date, you could try WIN 7 instead of WIN XP. Mine is not so new anymore and I did try to have WIN 7 in vbox, but that was no fun. Stuttering behavior. With WIN XP (and I hope, you could see it) I don't see a difference in behavior to a "real" WIN. kalle123 s...

Brain slowly ticking over here  1. FrSky supply a program for Windows called "frsky_update_Sport.exe". This uses the FrUSB3 (FUC3) and SPC items to allow updating of SPort devices. This program is actually built using QtCreator, a-multi platform development tool. QT is used for eep...

Thanks KH. I am going to hang fire on buying a Win XP cd until I see how Mike's solution through 2.0.16 works. Companion has the ability to flash the tx via a USB cable. Is it possible to flash a rx by the same route. I only use Ubuntu Linux and it seems flashing is somewhat restricted to M$ systems. There was a thread where "Mike" flashed a rx from the tx maintenance menu but I don't see anything ...

Thanks for the help. Reversing a servo worked. This had me confused because I have have been flying this plane for some months using Spektrum hardware and did not have to reverse the aileron servo.
