Very sad to hear of her death. She was quite knowledgeable and used her talents to help many here and on other forums.
Thanx for letting us know Mike.

Where are Templates in OpenTX for 9x?
I am working with 3 new pilots in setting up their 9x radios with OpenTX. The plan is to have all of them using the same settings for their firmware and for Companion so they can share their model files, experience, etc., and to make it easier for me to provide help when needed. I have not paid much...

Re: How to apply sound to a slider on Taranis
Something may not have printed correctly in your post. Do you mean ~x? If so, that means "approximately equal" to the value of x. Useful when designating a slider/pot value when there is a possibility that setting the slider/pot may not result in exactly full deflection or exact center. Se...

Re: C9X: Can I set weight beyond minus 100% ?
No, don't do any of that. The APM is programmed for a minimum throttle setting that spins up the motors when it is armed. There is no way you can make an adjustment to your radio to prevent this. This prevents loss of control of the quad in flight. Reset all of your radio mixes to 100% with no exten...

Excellent response João. There are couple of things that I would like to add to what you have said. Depending on wher...

Re: How do I enable CPPM in the taranis?
Check that FrSky XJT D-8 is set for RF Module 1 in the model Setup tab, start ch1, and maybe only Channels 1-7 max unless you have changed the firmware in the Rx. Make sure the jumper on the Rx is on the signal pins of ch 3/4.

Re: Taranis Quadcopter Curves and Mixing
" Can anyone think of a simple way to increase ALL GAINS on Taranis?" You can select Extended Limits in the model Setup tab, but as Kilrah pointed out this is best done in the FC board configuration. For MW look at the MultiWiiConf options for Rate in two places on the screen. Read the Wik...

Re: Owning two Taranis transmitters
Companion can not distinguish one Taranis from another. If you attempt to load the "wrong" eepe file to one of your radios it will happily comply with your instructions and do so. You will not suffer any loss, however, as all you have to do is then burn the "correct" eepe file to...

Don't get me wrong. I, too, believe that mixes are good and like most everyone I use a lot of them. It's just that some try to use mixes that are inappropriate (see discussions above for example). Does not seem that is the case in what bobnj is trying to accomplish, however. Let me point out to bobn...

Re: OpenTX voice file generator
I guess I don't understand. I have no need of all of the files in the program. I am also not able to delete or otherwise normally manipulate any of the existing files. All I want to do is to create an occasional file or two to export to my Taranis sound folder. Can I do this with this program? Ted

With either a model or full scale, there is no way a fixed mix can accomplish the correct control inputs for any given crosswind except by chance.
