Re: Voltage Sensor no longer reading

Hi Mike Thanks for the reply. I purchased a new XJT module recently to eliminate this possibility but the problem still occurs. Furthermore the telemetry issue occurs with the TX16S using the XJT module as well as with the Turnigy 9X(Smartie parts converted) To summarise the XJT module gave telemetr...

Re: Voltage Sensor no longer reading

Correct. There should be a connection on the 9X from the back board to the 9Xtreme. My guess is this has become disconnected. Mike [/quote] Hi Mike I cant see any connections that have come loose. No matter what firmware I use, the XJT will not allow the X6R to give telemetry. Although I have suppos...

Re: Voltage Sensor no longer reading

Hi Ron I have experienced a similar problem with a Turnigy 9x Extreme. Using an XJT module and an X6R the telemetry sensors were operating well then after some weeks they no longer appear ( RSSI and RxBat) I have tried reflashing the module and the X6R - the receiver binds ok and seems to register t...

All information readily available and works perfectly!

Vario using flight controller

Hi I noticed a recent video on YouTube by Andrew Newton using a flight controller barometer as a vario. He used smartport to get the vertical speed from the flight controller and then selected the vario source in Open TX. Can this be done with ersky9XT using Extreme9x? I am using the Extreme9x TX wi...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions

Hi Mike Tested the Distance telemetry parameter today. 3 flights with maximum distance 1 mile The results seem to be reliable using units of feet and give great graphical results The values obtained will need to be multiplied by on average 3.28, so I will apply a multiplier of 328 and a divisor of 1...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions

With everything connected up, go to the "model setup" menu and select "Telemetry". You should get a popup with 5 options, the last of which is "Sensors", select this. You should now see a list of "unknown sensors", that is sensors with IDs that are not handle...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions

I'm not aware of application ID 0420 being a "distance" value. It is not defined as such by FrSky, nor is it defined in the openTx code. What hardware at the receiver end are you using that might be sending a specific value with this ID? If such a value is being sent, then recent test ver...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions - telemetry sensors

Hi Mike/Joao

I'm looking at logging RSSI against distance from home.
I have seen that Open TX has a sensor 0420 that gives distance from home but I cant find the equivalent in Ersky9x.
I'm using a Extreme9x with version R222c2
Any ideas?
