Re: PPM protection resistor

Hi Guys

I have installed the 100 ohm resistor on both my 9Xtreme TXs and everything appears to be working ok.

Am I correct in thinking that because the resistor is in line to module pin no 5, good values for the RSS1 and SWR value indicate that all is working as it should ?

Hi Joao
Hope you are well

Thanks for the super quick reply

I will do the PPM mod to be safe on both my T9XExtremes ( I recently bought a second Extreme board as the numbers are going down below 100!)

Re: PPM protection resistor

Hi Guys Some weeks ago I updated my firmware to EU LBT versions on the XJT module and my XR receivers with no problems (SP Extreme board installed in T9X) The RX update requires leads to be connected between the SPort on the RX and the module pins numbers 3,4 and 5 in the TX. But thinking back on th...

If a Pot is used to arm the throttle then it can't be knocked on or off - much safer than a switch

Hi Guys
Its encouraging to hear from Steven that another run might be possible

HobbyKing are selling the 9X in Europe and in the UK and I noticed that Banggood are marketing the Flysky 9X

There is still a future for the 9X

Thanks Octavios for the link. That gives me a good place to start. Also I see there are processor upgrade options but I'm not sure they're relevant with the 9Xtreme addon board installed. I have reading to do. I'm not giving up on this radio just yet. So far it has worked flawlessly for me. I just ...

Re: 9Xtreme V2? Or Discontinued?

Certainly not... the 9XR-Pro is however on sale and even cheaper at £53.19!! But the 9X comes with a module and receiver that can be easily modified by replacing the TX antenna with the antenna on whatever module is selected This gives a much more adaptable final product when using ERsky and the 9X...

Thanks for the quick reply

You also thought the TRN switch is more useful on the left!

It did occur to me that extending the signal wires might be the simplest way to keep the set up as original - I will do it this way to avoid any conflicts with Eepsky
