Re: Radio Rebooting / screen flashing when going through menus?
Found it... Somehow had bad data in the model configuration. Had to remove data on the telemetry screen in companion 2.2 and then everything was fine! NUTS!

Radio Rebooting / screen flashing when going through menus?
I am really not sure what is happening on my x-lite but I have it on the latest firmware and flashed the boot and everything. I was about to setup lua scripts and then noticed I only have menus 1/12 on a model and when i scroll through it and hit a point the radio restarts or something weird happens...

Re: I have a new x-lite updating firmware unknown error!
In the process to do the screen capture I just tried to do the firmware update with the power off on then x-lite! Unlike my old radio it looks like you do firmware updates on the x-lite with the radio OFF! So it worked... The error I was getting only happens I guess if you try to do a firmeare upgra...

I have a new x-lite updating firmware unknown error!

I updated the boot loader but i get the same error on windows and mac. And I set the companion app to know that i am on a x-lite....

OH MY GOD you are right! WTF.... I looked at that yesterday 100 times and didn't see the X9D+ on the Companion 2.2! In Companion 2.1 it just said Taranis! Thank you for making me go back and look again! Feeling very stupid but happy I have it updated!

Updating firmware "new firmware not compatible with one currently installed"
was deep into OpenTX two years ago but I have been away for a while. I had my radio (x9d) on 2.1.7 but today got the dust off it and tried to upgrade to 2.2.2. I installed 2.2.2 Companion no issue but when I went to do the firmware I got this issue that said "new firmware not compatible with on...

Starting in 2.1 with GPS (relative to starting location)
What is the best way to create a calculated altitude that shows the difference between starting GPS altitude and current GPS altitude?

Re: OpenTX 2.1 telemetry system preview
Just connect the sensor and power up model and radio, its fields will be detected, then edit the altitude one to turn on Auto Offset and create a new Calculated sensor with formula Distance and selecting the GPS as the source. If you also select an alt source you get 3D distance, otherwise 2D. It d...

Re: OpenTX 2.1 telemetry system preview
Can someone post up a picture of what I should enter to get the GPS sensor working for FrySky?
I want Lat and Long and I would like horizontal distance and altitude based on GPS (assuming start altitude is always set as 0)
Thanks,
Joe

Re: Migrating from OpenTX 2.0 to 2.1 (Telemetry)
Ok I am making some progress I think... It looks like some telemtery entries exist for FrSky.S.Port by default.
I don't see the GPS ones though? How do I sent them up?
Also I used one called CNSP before that was milliamp hours pulled from the battery so far.
How do we do that now?

Migrating from OpenTX 2.0 to 2.1 (Telemetry)
Hi All, I very foolishly upgraded from 2.0 to 2.1 thinking this will be smooth like moving from 1.X to 2.X. (I didn't do my research and I got hit!) My fault! When I was done none of the logical switches or custom functions I had created that worked with FrySky telemetry moved over. I was able to go...

Any good source that shows all this and gives a guide to all the programming commands?
I am a programmer so I just need to understand what the functions do.

Programming a arming switch.
Hi... I have done years of programming computers but I am still a bit new to the Open TX setups with a Taranis. I have the arm for my mini-quad on a switch. The problem is if i flick arm and my throttle is up the darn thing jumps off the ground. So what i did was setup a warn sound when the arm swit...
