Re: Temporary signal loss

Hi Mike, no, I only have the one which came with the 9X, and some tiny 3-ch ones. (See links in first post of thread) I need: One for the Radian glider. Tiny, 3-ch, with telemetry (I assume the vario and GPS on here are what I need? http://www.t9hobbysport.com/rc-gear/frsky-smart-port-sensors) One f...

Oh. Sorry if it was a stupid question. I assume ALL transmitters use the same system then? That's a nice change if true!

Re: Temporary signal loss

T9 only seem to have throttle left available! :-( http://www.t9hobbysport.com/frsky-taranis-2.4ghz-transmitter All I can find is Hobbyking have it for £101 + £20 = £121 postag...

Re: Temporary signal loss

Hi, I'm still trying to decide between the Taranis (£144) and the 9XR-PRO (£62 + postage £20 + DJT £20 = £102)

Will the Taranis work with a trainer lead to my 9x transmitter? If not, that's a fatal flaw...

Does the Taranis offer anything extra for the extra £42?

Re: Temporary signal loss

Thanks Mike, you're an absolute star. Voice feedback is exactly what I dream of! I'm comfortable with soldering but have never done any flashing - although I'd love to learn if there is anyone in the Nottingham area who has nothing better to do than show me! :-) If I got a 9XR-pro could I still use ...

Mike.
Ah, yes I am. Can you send me a link for a good place to buy what would be better?

Temporary signal loss

Hi I have an unmodified Flysky 9x and occasionally (once every 3 flights?) the signal is lost for second or two (scary!). I've been putting up with this now for 9 months and I thought I ought to try and solve it. Clues: - It happens with all my planes (simple electric foamies - bixler, sonic, radian...

Re: Buddy box question

Oh yes, thanks. I've found the trainer mode and got it working! Brilliant! I've dreamt of having a buddy box facility for 30 years! For anyone else considering this, you need to also remove the module from the slave transmitter. Or do a bit of tinkering as described on here: http://www.hobbyking.com...

Re: Buddy box question

Right, I've got my second flysky 9x. When I plug in the mono cable both transmitter switch themselves on, but the trims are wrong unless I physically switch on the master transmitter. So far so good, but I can't get it to transfer control to the slave transmitter. Pulling the momentary action switch...

Buddy box question

Hi, I have a FlySky FSTH9X transmitter and I would like to buy another to buddy box with to help teach other people. I see there is a socket on the back, and I also see there are YouTube videos about modifications needed to make it work. Can anyone confirm what I need to do? Why on earth do they put...
