Re: Problem with Taranis gimbals.

Also, do you have anything connected to that pin of the expansion grid? Pin 11??

Re: Problem with Taranis gimbals.

That blue line seems to be the charging circuit. The yellow seems to be the BATT voltage after the switch.

Did you connect something to the radio's charge port?
Did you short the battery while charging it?
Did you connect the charger to thew charging port with the battery removed?

Re: Problem with Taranis gimbals.

Do you have a multimeter that you could use to measure continuity?

Where in the world are you? maybe someone near you could help

Re: Problem with Taranis gimbals.

Geeehhhhhhhhhhhhh.. You must have shorted something.. Can you please follow that trace and see where it goes? it looks like it goes from one connector to the other?
Then we can have a look at the schematic.

Re: Telemetry sudden stopped on XJT module

I see that your radio is a normal production radio.. I am surprised that it doesn't have the connection to COM2 on the futaba port.. Someone messed up, probably on a monday :)

Re: openXsensor V8.0 16bit ADC and analog Airspeedsensor

There are some really cheap arduino type (and compatible with arduino) boards that use a STM chip. I just ordered a few for a couple dollars each.

Mine also doesn't have that connection as it was a test radio. I never added the connection.. Could you please post a picture of your radio? I would like to see the display area..

Where did you buy your radio from? The only radios I know didn't have the COM port at the Futaba port were the test radios sent to the beta testers..

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Mike, I will try pressing menu in a while and will report, but I think I already did that and nothing happened. Also, perhaps this setting should really be in the Hardware menu. The setting only changes when you replace the pots or add a slider, it is not a setting that keeps changing. Thanks João S...

Re: eepSKYe

Bt baudrate is there as well, and the BT name and addresses are on the Hardware tab. That's why I didn't find it. I would never think of searching there as the Hardware menu is normally for settings that only need to be done once. The Bluetooth settings can (and will) change. There is enough space ...

Re: eepSKYe

Mike, I have just installed the latest eepskye test version from a couple days ago. I have a few comments. 1 - You have the Music switches also on "General Edit / Setup". They shouldn't be there as they are model based? 2 - Perhaps in model setup it would be better to move the Music player configura...

Re: DX5E X1TX0 with Futaba 8FG

I doubt anyone here even use a Futaba radio. We normally use and discuss radios that support open source firmware, and futaba is not one of them. To be honest, I don't even think that what you are trying to do is possible as I can't see the Futaba software supporting the DX5 protocol. Are you follow...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Of course Mike.. What I meant to say, is that for a formal release would be better to have for example the logical switch menu fully implemented. This release will probably be formal for many months.. New features and options can wait, of course, as they need testing anyway.. João Sent from my BLN-L...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

The guys at HK sold the old 9XR radio with a modified version of Er9x. That broke compatibility with the real er9x and eepe, leaving the users without the possibility of saving their models to the computer.. Very bad move. When people decided to install newer versions of er9x, they had to re-program...

Re: RE: Re: ERSKY9X Coding

The next test version will include an option to set the welcome voice message to "System", "None", or "Custom". System works as now with the message also controlled by the splash screen setting. None is just that, no message. Custom lets you choose a message from the voice/user directory. All are p...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

That sounds great Mike.. If this works good It might be possible to get rid of the "Welcome.wav" file and use only the GVAs.. We could even combine some :)
This sounds really good. I can already imagine the pranks I can do to my mates with it..

Ok, Quick test.. Joystick works on the Ar9x :) I Like the Name "ERSKY9X HID" :) Very nice.. Also, the main screen loks reeeaaally nice. I like the time and volume there.. Re: How to connect eepe simulator on my PC with Turnigy 9X Radio and model planes, using SBUS/Arduino for setup?

I never used that one, so I can't tell you if it works or not, but my guess is that it doesn't because the SBUS output from the PC works at a different baud rate than the original SBUS signal.. Why don't you build the one that I posted on the other thread? it is easy to build and it can output 16 ch...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

I didn't test yet, but if I remove the "modelNames" folder and copy the files to the "User" folder, then program the model name on the voice menu, it might work.. Obviously this is not a good definitive solution. Even if I quite like the idea of programming the model name sound file in the Model voi...
