Re: Lost my model match when installing 2.2.1

Robert, the only way you might have had model match on D8 receivers was if you used the MultiModule. Frsky as far as we all know, never had that. I use Frsky for 8+ years, I think I would have known if there was a cool feature like this one. I remember that one of the reasons that I though it wasn't...

Are the apps also for the other tx, or are they related to the X-Lite only? ;)

Re: 9XR dropping off USB-computer connection???

the bootloader is in the firmware file. put the firmware file inside the "firmware" folder on the SD card, start the radio in maintenance mode by turning the radio ON while holding both horizontal trims away from the center (away from each other). then select "Upload Bootloader". Then select the sam...

you have very old versions of the firmware and bootloader.. Please update to the latest and then see if the problem is still there.. you can find the latest ersky9x firmware at www.er9x.com

Re: Coollvse OLED issue

That's the think, that board does not run Ersky9x as it has an atmega128 processor. It runs Er9x. Not sure if er9x supports that display.. You need Mike to confirm that..
we thought you were talking about another board..

Re: Trim problem

Good that is working :) For the RTC I guess you need Mike's opinion on this, as he knows much more about the radio than I do. If you say that the RTC battery Is correctly installed and the voltage is 3.3V, then it should be working :o I would check again the battery polarity and that the connection ...

Re: Lost my model match when installing 2.2.1

Well, it would be wonderful if they implemented that. One more towards safety :) But then, I think you guys should test it yourselves before removing the option from the menu, isn't that the logical thing to do? :) ;) I know that my logic is 99% of the times the opposite of the Developer's logic, bu...

Re: Lost my model match when installing 2.2.1

Bob, as stated above several times, it is impossible you had model match on D8 receivers using an original frsky RF module.. that simply never existed. Only the multi module can do that. I use frsky D8 gear for over 8 years now and i would have known if their original gear would do model match. it j...

I think that at least the VA's could be simulated.. probably we could create some simulated telemetry events so we could also program alarms.. Just an idea of course..

Re: eepSKYe

Mike, what about if we could also program the voice in eepskye and actually hear on the PC what we are programming? That would need a "Voice" folder somewhere, probably in the eepe directory? This could of course be extended to eepe..
Thanks

Re: Trim problem

You can try the following, go to the "Radio Setup/Hardware" menu, scroll down to the stick reversing option and select it. Keep pressing the right key until the stick(s) that is giving problems is/are reversed. See if all sticks now move in the same direction of their trims. But before you do that, ...

Re: Trim problem

Well writing them on the wrong order doesn't help, because that is what tells us if the sticks are badly wired or not.
So all that test you did was useless :(

Re: Lost my model match when installing 2.2.1

Well, I also thought you were talking about the multi module.. Let's clear something here. With the original Frsky modules, and as Kilrah said, model match never worked with D8 receivers. With the multi module it akways did because of what Mike explained above. So, if you were using the internal mod...

Re: Trim problem

It looks like your Right Vertical stick is reversed in hardware.. the others seem to be OK.. the rudder is left horizontal, right? so O68B is stick to the right, and 0163 is stick to the left? if so, this sem to be the expected values. You might need to calibrate your sticks though.. The Right verti...

Re: Lost my model match when installing 2.2.1

As far as we know D8 receivers don't support it, and I also can't see anything in the multiprorocol doc stating it has implemented a trick to make it work anyway... Aka we go by what whe've been able to find. I am surprised that you guys as DEVs didn't really try to see if it works, because if you ...

Re: Lost my model match when installing 2.2.1

The receiver number does work with D receivers as well, hence the OP said that he had it working on previous versions, so I do not understand why OpenTX hides the option?
Will try make a video of it working later, but I use Ersky9x..

With the Multimodule you do have the receiver number, which is pretty much the same as model match, and this also applies to the D8 receivers...

Re: Trim problem

I flashed the latest test release before I went to use it. I activated the Hardware menu and none of the sticks are highlighted. This radio is Mode 1 and it is the Rudder channel, the trim moves in the opposite direction to the stick. I have not replaced the sticks, they are still the original ones...
