Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Sources of FULL and HALF are special cases as they are always processed. There is an argument that they are no longer needed! Just use a switch as the source and configure the weight and offset to get the required result. Mike. I have found some cases where they are needed. It didn't work with a sw...

Re: *Two* FBVS01 with *two* batteries: which wires to connect to where?

Ok, I called it "signal" not to confuse it with the battery positive. And yes, it is an analog signal, which happens to be a voltage.. I know those sensors of course. I build my own. :) And yes, connect the ground from the sensor to the battery, but NOT to the receiver, to avoid a ground loop.. The ...

Yes, but that doesn't matter for this problem.. Let's wait for the Futaba measurements.
I can't find the gimbal specs anywhere..

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Yes, but isn't this supposed to have some indication to us of what is happening in reality on the model? Because if it is not than it is better not to have it at all as it is misleading, and only creates confusion in my opinion.. My English is not so good and I have the feeling that I am not express...

Re: Hall sensor gimbals for the 9xr pro?

Bob, I DO know the Gimbal voltages on the PRO and the older 9XR. I DO NOT know what voltages the Futaba radio puts on the Gimbals. That is why I asked. If you don't know the radios and don't even have one, why are you even mentioning them? We know that those gimbals were made for the 9XR-PRO radio o...

Re: *Two* FBVS01 with *two* batteries: which wires to connect to where?

You will also need to connect the signal wire from the sensor to the receiver so you have telemetry, right? ;)

I power my receivers from the BEC normally. I still haven't used two batteries, that is why I didn't refer to the "Positive"

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

It is correct the way it works, but if you are actually controlling something with that mix, you will think that this same thing is ON when it actually isn't. That will lead us to try to troubleshoot something that doesn't exist.. So, the mix is showing us something as ON when in reality it is not. ...

I connect the sensor's ground to the battery, and only the signal wire to the receiver..

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

An Icon doesn't allow you to change your mind in case of a wrong key press. I am not lazy and one more key press is not a problem :) Popup menus have been used in er9x and ersky9x to make the firmware much more user friendly, and also to allow many more options in the same place. They are one of the...

Re: Hall sensor gimbals for the 9xr pro?

He was asking about his Futaba radio. Nothing to do with the PRO radio. Therefore I asked him to measure the voltage on the Futaba's gimbals. I believe the 3 axis gimbal is also 3.3V. If you exceed this voltage the hall sensors might get damaged. I have the feeling that this is what's happening.. João

I like the same approach as in eepskye. A popup confirming that the mixes will be replaced. With the confirmation popup, the user has a chance of changing his/her mind before the template is applied..

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

I really wish I could get a solid answer on that question. I don't think there is a solid answer. Even servos are all different with different throws and different centering. Some radios have travel between 1000ms and 2000ms. Most flight controllers also expect these numbers, Some radios might use ...

Is that a hall sensor gimbal? If so, measure the voltage your radio is applying to the gimbals..

I think I should have also done that on my radios Mike.. I can still swap the connections I guess. Having PPM 1 on the external module, doesn't mean I will have to connect it to COM1. It is just the feeling that it has to be done that way :)

Re: 9XR screen going blank

Yeah, without battery the radio doesn't work ;) Keep the battery voltage above 7V. I set the alarm at 7.2V.. Is the voltage the radio displays correct? If not you can adjust it in the DiagAna menu.. Mike, perhaps this setting would be better placed in the "Hardware" menu? It should need to be adjust...

Re: 9XR screen going blank

If when you connect the programmer the screens are there, it might be that the 5V from the radio's voltage regulator are not getting to the processor. Check the voltage at the 5V voltage regulator. One of the pins should have battery voltage, one should be Ground, and the other should have 5V. Be ve...

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

You can use any battery, as long as the voltage does not drop below 7V. If it does, the 5V regulator won't work properly and you might not have the needed stable 5V for the radio to function.

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

A template do not create a new model. A template can add to the existing programming on the model, or can replace all the mixes on that model. For example, if you just want to add a Sticky throttle cut, the "Sticky T-Cut" template will create a safety switch on the throttle channel. For example if y...
