Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

In first place, how much did you pay for the Er9x firmware to be bashing it the way you are, specially when you have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about? Er9x does all you have mentioned and much more. The firmware (that is open source), the manuals and the videos you have watched were ...

Re: Manual calibration for 6POS switch?

Well isn't this suppose to be the wiring diagram http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5659 , if not than all the info should really be put somewhere where it is easy to find and cleanly written where no comments or questions can be made but they are just updated when something new comes, s...

Re: Manual calibration for 6POS switch?

Those are not the connections that Ersky9x is expecting.. You have one pin floating (not connected). I suggest you modify your switch. You say you built it based on another design? For which radio is that switch you copied then? :o João EDIT: If you have the 4th pin not connected instead of the 3rd ...

Re: Manual calibration for 6POS switch?

the filtering has nothing to do with the switch. It is for the sticks.. I suggest you leave it at OSMP.. I don't understand what you mean by deadband.. the switch should switch to the correct position after calibration. If it does this, it is working correctly. On you post above you said that 6P2 wa...

Yes, the ones me and Mike linked do all that, and only use one channel :)
Actually, a user from this forum use to sell them

Re: How to program

Cheap (realitively) standard RC switches can be had for 1 channel off the shelf from hobbyking, ebay or banggood and probably many other places. Yes, but I don't think they do what he was asking for, which is controlling many different lights using only one channel. At least not the way this DIY pr...

Thanks, I have a couple of those as well :)
The mainboards, I was sending people the ones that I repaired, and they would post the broken ones to me.. I would repair them and send to the next person.. It was fun :)

Re: How to program

There is no way to have one channel on the receiver control 3 different lights independently using only standard standard RC switches. Yes there is :) what about 4? ;) Have a look at this little project. Not off the shelf though, you will have to build it :) http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic....

Yes, the 5V 16Mhz arduino should work. Connect the 3.3V from the Orange module to the "VCC" pin of the arduino..

Re: binding problem

I think you need to get that module tested in another radio somehow. At this point I don't think that the problem is the radio.
Do you have any other module you can test? DO you have a friend you could borrow another module from?

Re: binding problem

Hmmm, In limits you only changed the -100 to -80. You should also change the +100 to +80. It seems you have a bit of a mess in the mixer. It looks like you still have the old throttle cut programming on channels 14 and up, and then you have a mix controlled by a logical switch on the Elevator channe...

The reason I posted the link from the Spanish ebay was that you could get it faster than ordering from China.. I can't see what the programmer wire is as it is covered in shrink tube. Re: Push buttons / Encoder

Are you mounting the buttons on the back of the radio?

Ground is for example on one of those big pads at the top of the back board. Do not connect to the one at the bottom. That one connects to pin 5 of the module bay.

What numbers you see increasing or decreasing when you move the plane? The altitude values, or the vertical speed values. Ok, do something please.. Use eepskye to save your radio's eeprom to the computer. Then zip it and attach it to your post here so we can have a look. When I get to my computer, I...

Not really, the version with the case, the iRangex one, has proven to have some problems sometimes. Re: binding problem

Mike, didn't the old versions of ersky9x have the PPM polarity swapped? So maybe he should try to select positive so the radio outputs negative which I think the DM9 module needs. I think that was fixed some time ago?

Re: Another two modules thread. 2.0

Will a Level Converter be needed when using Com2 for telemetry with the 9Xtreme board ? :?: Depends on which module you are connecting. The Multi module, as Mike explained output 3.3V logical level, so it does not need a level conversion. A Frsky DHT module for example would need it.. We are able t...

Re: Push buttons / Encoder

You could use a 2 position switch and the 6 position switch together.
With the 2 position OFF, you would have 1 to 6 on the 6 position. With the 2 position switch ON, you would have 7 to 12..

You need to use logical switches to detect all the 12 positions, and then use them in the mixer..

Re: Another two modules thread. 2.0

Ahh, ok, that is COM 1 and connects to the external module. They just call it Frsky for some reason. When you select it in the telemetry menu is called COM1. You want to install the module internally right? Then in my opinion better use COM2, which is Pin 14 of the expansion grid as I explained befo...

Re: Push buttons / Encoder

Ahh, that is a rotary switch, not an encoder.. But it seems to be a 12 way switch..
and you install it in your radio replacing a pot for example.. The 9xtreme also has extra analog inputs (Old 9x stock board sticks's connections)
