Re: Hall sensor gimbals for the 9xr pro?

He was asking about his Futaba radio. Nothing to do with the PRO radio. Therefore I asked him to measure the voltage on the Futaba's gimbals. I believe the 3 axis gimbal is also 3.3V. If you exceed this voltage the hall sensors might get damaged. I have the feeling that this is what's happening.. João

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

I like the same approach as in eepskye. A popup confirming that the mixes will be replaced. With the confirmation popup, the user has a chance of changing his/her mind before the template is applied..

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

I really wish I could get a solid answer on that question. I don't think there is a solid answer. Even servos are all different with different throws and different centering. Some radios have travel between 1000ms and 2000ms. Most flight controllers also expect these numbers, Some radios might use ...

Re: Hall sensor gimbals for the 9xr pro?

Is that a hall sensor gimbal? If so, measure the voltage your radio is applying to the gimbals..

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Guys, the latest test version (e3) has a little functionality that you can test if you which.. :) Go to the Logical switches menu and highlight one of the switches. Now press the left key once. The line will start blinking. Press the menu key long, and you will enter a menu where you can view all th...

Re: 9Xtreme Add 2nd Internal XJT Mod

I think I should have also done that on my radios Mike.. I can still swap the connections I guess. Having PPM 1 on the external module, doesn't mean I will have to connect it to COM1. It is just the feeling that it has to be done that way :)

Re: 9XR screen going blank

Yeah, without battery the radio doesn't work ;) Keep the battery voltage above 7V. I set the alarm at 7.2V.. Is the voltage the radio displays correct? If not you can adjust it in the DiagAna menu.. Mike, perhaps this setting would be better placed in the "Hardware" menu? It should need to be adjust...

Re: 9XR screen going blank

If when you connect the programmer the screens are there, it might be that the 5V from the radio's voltage regulator are not getting to the processor. Check the voltage at the 5V voltage regulator. One of the pins should have battery voltage, one should be Ground, and the other should have 5V. Be ve...

If you have plenty, you use only what you need. Others might need more, so, be happy that at least er9x can deliver what you need..

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

You can use any battery, as long as the voltage does not drop below 7V. If it does, the 5V regulator won't work properly and you might not have the needed stable 5V for the radio to function.

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

A template do not create a new model. A template can add to the existing programming on the model, or can replace all the mixes on that model. For example, if you just want to add a Sticky throttle cut, the "Sticky T-Cut" template will create a safety switch on the throttle channel. For example if y...

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

In first place, how much did you pay for the Er9x firmware to be bashing it the way you are, specially when you have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about? Er9x does all you have mentioned and much more. The firmware (that is open source), the manuals and the videos you have watched were ...

Re: Manual calibration for 6POS switch?

Those are not the connections that Ersky9x is expecting.. You have one pin floating (not connected). I suggest you modify your switch. You say you built it based on another design? For which radio is that switch you copied then? :o João EDIT: If you have the 4th pin not connected instead of the 3rd ...

Re: Manual calibration for 6POS switch?

the filtering has nothing to do with the switch. It is for the sticks.. I suggest you leave it at OSMP.. I don't understand what you mean by deadband.. the switch should switch to the correct position after calibration. If it does this, it is working correctly. On you post above you said that 6P2 wa...

Re: How to program

Cheap (realitively) standard RC switches can be had for 1 channel off the shelf from hobbyking, ebay or banggood and probably many other places. Yes, but I don't think they do what he was asking for, which is controlling many different lights using only one channel. At least not the way this DIY pr...

There is no way to have one channel on the receiver control 3 different lights independently using only standard standard RC switches. Yes there is :) what about 4? ;) Have a look at this little project. Not off the shelf though, you will have to build it :) http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic....

Re: binding problem

I think you need to get that module tested in another radio somehow. At this point I don't think that the problem is the radio.
Do you have any other module you can test? DO you have a friend you could borrow another module from?

Re: binding problem

Hmmm, In limits you only changed the -100 to -80. You should also change the +100 to +80. It seems you have a bit of a mess in the mixer. It looks like you still have the old throttle cut programming on channels 14 and up, and then you have a mix controlled by a logical switch on the Elevator channe...
