Re: My 9Xtreme Installation

The only thing "in my opinion" the taranis X9D has better than any of "my" radios is the bigger screen.. All my radios in different flavors, except perhaps my 9x with m2561, can do the same or even better than the taranis radios. Not even mentioning that the 9x feels better in my hands and it has a ...

Nice.. we would like to see the programming in action.. :) We can only imagine how it will work when we do the mixing.. it is always nice to see how it behaves in reality.. :)
Whenever you have time though.. and good weather :)

I wont change this radio not even for 4 brand new taranis :)))))))
I wouldn't. In my opinion my 9xtreme radio, the way it is set, is far better than 4 Taranis :)
The same goes to my Ar9x radios..

Are the buttons working well??

It is on the first post anyway, but here you go..

EXT Pin numbers do not need to be the same as in the picture. You can use other pin numbers.. Then configure them in the "Hardware" Menu..

If the receiver has telemetry it will also be transmitting.. not sure it is a good idea to power it on without antennas. if that is the case, it could get damaged..

Yes, I have high temperature (Red) silicone here.. how is it called? Liquid gaskets or something like that? :) The problem is that it doesn't harden enough... it is just like soft rubber when dry. I don't think it would hold the sensor for long. When I was experimenting with it (and still have to fi...

There are some other Canadian people here on he forum. Let's see what they have to say.. Are there any Canadian companies manufacturing RC gear? ;) :)
If FCC or even CE are not accepted, you might not even be allowed to use any foreign equipment.

Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

Good luck with installing the buttons.. Make sure they clear the gimbals or you might not be able to close the radio's case :) It is too cold here in Germany at the moment for a poor Portuguese like me.. We were made for warm weather, not cold.. João Sent from my BLN-L21 using Tapatalk

Re: OpenXSensor HoTT Temperature

I presume you will be installing those NTC sensors on the engine's cylinder head? If so, I have similar sensors and would be interested in knowing how you did it :) I did glue mine with epoxy glue to the cylinder head near the glow plug, and between 2 of the cooling fins. But when the engine gets ho...

Re: Intermittent speaker malfunctions

Good point.. I have just realized that the radio is a 9XR-PRO.. Actually half of the output stage of my radio's audio amplifier broke, and I had to change the circuit in order to still have sound on the speaker. I don't remember what I did though :( It was quite a while ago.. But even if this is the...

I believe the speaker should be the first place to look.
I know I said this never happened to me but now I do remember something similar did. And twice. And in Both occasions it was a broken speaker.

I wouldn't use freeze spray on a speaker as it is normally made of paper.. it shouldn't get hot anyway..

If the devs would have accepted that fact long long time ago, it would have avoided many headaches when people tried to change from one firmware to the other.

What firmware do you have installed on your radio? Er9x or openTX?
Also what processor is in the radio? m64 or m128?

It's the safety switch I used.. Please go to the "Model Setup / Safety Switches" and change the value from zero to 1 or 2. This should get you closer to the value you need.. Just increase further if necessary..

Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

Use the subtrim. Select channel 2. at top of the "LImits" screen you will see the selected channel value in micro seconds. Increase the subtrim until it reads 1525, simple :) The dead band is normal. Remember that normally you would be using the stick at it's middle position. Without the dead band, ...

Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

Hmm, it looks like the electronics might be a bit offset and don't expect the zero to be zero.. if the electronics were designed for Futaba radios for example, the center point is not 1500uS (micro seconds) anymore, but around 1520uS. Try playing with the Sub-Trim value on the Thr channel in the "Mo...
