Re: RB30 "servo overload, power overload" voice prompt

I was surprised that upon updating to accst v2.1 on iXJT and the X8R, the issue went away.

The RB30 is a nice unit, but there are a bunch of hoops....that's for another day and thread!

Thank you but looks like they removed that little 'download' button that I am able to find for some of the rx's. On the website https://www.frsky-rc.com/x10s/ under FIRMWARE - iXJT (OPTX)FIRMWARE - iXJT (OPTX) nothing else there except the new 2.1.0 accst I did find this..... https://davesdronedesig...

Re: ACCST D16 2.X.X

Is there a link for the original or most recent v1.x ACCST iXJT module FW for X10s? Don't see it on the Frsky website. Was going to try 2.1 to see if it fixes a telemetry issue, but want to be able to go back if needed (soooo many rx to update!)
Thx

RB30 "servo overload, power overload" voice prompt

Hi there. Running X10s accst with OTX 2.3.11 and RB30 with latest fw X8R latest fw attached to RB30 via sbus and Sport. When I power on unit with no servos attached, I get a one time voice message...."servo overload, power overload" If just the X8r powered up, not attached to the RB30, no ...

Frsky RB-20 Amps and Current telemetry bug?

I have an Rx8rPro hooked by sbus into the RB20 on Rx1. I have the S-Port connected to Rx1 SP. I have 2 same LiFe batteries hooked in. Using X10s and openTx 2.2.3 When I discover the telemetry, it discovers all the voltage, amps, currents, etc. But no matter what I do, swapping batteries, swapping Rx...

Hey! What was your solution. I was trying to do the same thing, gear on Ch13 mixed to rudder and use T5 switch on X10 for the steering trim. Under Mixes. Ch 13 Source : Rud Weight (+100%) No trim Source : Trm5 Weight (+100%) Include Trim Multiplex ADD Just would like to know how you did it! Cheers, ...

Re: RX8rpro and sbus to RB20 and Hobby Eagle gyro A3Super2

Lets say I wanted to add an XM+ as satellite. Would it be better connected to the RB20 or the RX8R Pro via Sbus. And, if I wanted to keep the gyro in the loop for either RX, could I just add an additional Y cable between the XM+ Sbus out to Rb20/RX8R and Gyro. ???

Thx for the help.

Display channel values in microseconds instead of %.

Using X10s and OpenTx v2.2.3 If I want to see the servo limits on the "output" screen on the Tx as microseconds as opposed to %, do I have to re-flash the fw with "ppmus" option ticked? Or is there a simpler way to change the screen. (ppmus: Displays channel values in microsecond...

New X10s from X9d+ Rebind everything??

I just picked up X10s and uploaded all my models from my X9D+. Will I have to rebind all my models with the X10s? I was hoping to be able to move back and forth between TX's so I can get a good feel. But maybe it is just one or the other?? Also, in the case of a SxR rx, will they then have to be rec...

Will I need multiple installs of Companion for both X9d and X10s

Right now I am running Companion 2.2.3 with my X9D running Opentx 2.2.0 and life is good.
I just picked up X10s with Opentx 2.2.2
Can I use the same install of Companion to edit models and upload models to both tx's?
What about TX firmware updates?
Thx in advance.

Re: RX8rpro and sbus to RB20 and Hobby Eagle gyro A3Super2

Maybe...just maybe... This is just a mockup. Rx8Rpro (or in this photo x8r) sbus out to Y cable. One sbus to rb20 and and one to gyro. Then for the specific channel, in this case ch1, lets say its Ail1, just the signal lead from the gyro output to the servo, and the power output from the rb20. Of co...

Thanks Kilrah, thats what I was thinking, but I wanted to have the servos powered thru the Rb20, but have signal controlled thru gyro for Ail, Elv and Rud. I would prefer not to have the servos wired direct off the gyro output, but can't figure a way around it.

Hi, I am running Opentx 2.2.0. I did upgrade a while ago from 2.0.19 to 2.1 to 2.2 I was getting generic "SD card" error yesterday, so I thought maybe my logs were so full and there was no more room on the SD card. When I plugged it into my PC, under the LOGS directory, there are a lot of ...

Re: "Weight" vs "Limits"

I get the concept you are saying. I was just trying to make it linear in my mind. Setting the limits from -100 to +100 to -75 to +75, the range of value goes from 200 to 150. 150 is 25% less than the normal 200 settings, and thereby limiting 12.5% on either end.

Yes indeed! What I meant was 12.5 on either end, total of 25.

Re: "Weight" vs "Limits"

In my opinion, in your case, the servos arms are hitting the mounting, so that can eventually damage them. The limits are exactly what they say. Some hard limits, that means the servo will NEVER pass that setting. if you leave the limits at 100% and decrease the movement in the mixer, it will work ...

"Weight" vs "Limits"

Just trying to wrap my brain around these issues. I have a servo that moves too far and the arm hits the mounting when set at 100 weight and -100 to +100. I can easily modify the limits to -75 to +75 leaving weight at 100 and movement is fine (loosing 12.5% on either end for total 25%). I can also c...
