Taranis X9D Plus-2019SE won't open on mac OS Ventura
I can no long connect my radio to my mac since I upgraded macOS Ventura 13.1
The screen insists that I must use the "three finger salute" to connect but this is not an option with my radio. The TX still connects to an older mac running macOS Monterey 12.0.1

Re: Upgrader to 2.3.15 on a D9XSE-2019
Is there a convention to naming the SDcard? I have given it a name D9XSE2315. I noticed that when upgrading the firmware to version 2.3.15 I had to use the name supplied by the system, previously one had to shorten the name as the system could not deal with long names. Any know? A quick reminder &qu...

Re: Upgrader to 2.3.15 on a D9XSE-2019
I'm still mystified, suddenly this morning the radio behaved as it should and I was able to flash both the bootloader and firmware. Lucky me but why? I also have loaded the new SDcard with all my files and now the TX is stumm. I works fine when connected to openTX companion ie when in special functi...

Upgrader to 2.3.15 on a D9XSE-2019
I can not get my TX to the firmware upgrade as the "three finger salute" won't work. At one stage I was advised the double click the on/off switch while applying the TFS would work but alas I can't get that to work either. I have attempted to upgrade using OpenTX Companion 2.3.15 but get a...

Re: X9d Plus SE 2019 Firmware Update problem
I certainly need help or else I would not be here. I also have a new X9D Plus SE-2019 and have a firmware update problem and it has me flummoxed. The TX arrived with OpenTX version 2.3.0 and it works splendidly but I would like to update the firmware to the latest stable version i.e. 2.3.2. I know o...

Re: Flashing FrSky modules with Linux or Mac?
I don't know if anyone is still interested but I can flash and calibrate my S6R receivers using the STK tool on my Mac using VMWare Fusion. If you are interested drop me an email and I will send you a copy of my notes in the hope that you too can get going. It is not difficult once you figure out how!

taranis sound files
There is a better way to make .wav (sound files) for the Taranis if you own a Mac. Direct to WAV: Start Terminal from Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal say -o ~/Desktop/model1.wav --data-format=LEI16@16000 -v Karen "Model Selected is model1" model1 is the name of the output .wav file. ...

I own two FrSky Taranis transmitters and wonderful transmitters they are. But now I need help in linking them so one is the Master TX and the second one the Save TX. I have worked on the problem for two days so far but am getting nowhere. I have a JR/Spectrum buddy link, which fits. Firstly is there...

Pity it won't work on my Taranis. the second last line CF5 SHdwn Adjust S2 is the problem for me: S2 is not available as part of the drop down list. Any Ideas?
Re: SD card
Thank you, You have answered the question that was bothering me, I will get rid of the junk. I now have this problem solved, I shortened the file names to <10 chars. If I can find out how to make a usable SDCard on the iMac I will post it for others who may have this problem.
SD card
I own a Taranis, the B version I believe the firmware running is SVN 2923, my computer is an iMac. I recently add some custom sound files and they worked just fine. I attempted to add 4 more files but these failed to show up in the Custom Function list. I checked with the SD browser and the files ap...

I have created and tested a number of sound files, all of which seem to be fine. Subsequently I copied them to SDCard/sound/en, all of which worked. When I want to choose one of these files in custom functions play track the flies do not show in the list. I then checked via a long menu press and pag...

Re: General help
Thank you, I found my problem. DmTmDs on the radio, I selected Play Sound instead of Play Track, feel quite silly about it now.
I would like to have the Play Track option available in companion9x, what silly thing have I overlooked.
Thanks to Kilrah

Are you talking of doing things on the radio itself or on the computer with companion9x? On the radio the files need to be put in the SOUNDS\[language] directory. Language is selected in radio setup. A problem
Can anyone inform re the protocol to bind a TX and plane. This is not a question on how to bind the TX and RX. Is it to turn the TX on first and then power up the plane or plane first then the TX? A technical explanation would be helpful. I can explain further if that is needed.
