Re: Orange Module running MULTI protocol

That board doesn't have/need those "missing" resistors. I have one of those boards, but I don't think I ever put the bootloader onto it. I'll try going through the process with it, but it will be tomorrow before I have time to do so. I had the board for a different project, and that fell through, so...

Re: Scripts for ersky9x

To run from the "LONG MENU" popup then the script must be in the "scripts" folder.
To run in a telemetry screen then the script must be in the "scripts/telemetry" folder.

Re: Orange Module running MULTI protocol

Please confirm you have tried:
1. Invert Com Port as both No and Yes.
2. You have powered the radio on holding the "bind" button on the module pressed (tends to need 3 hands!).

Re: Qx7 unused connectors

I've allowed the source of the 6-pos switch to be one of these extra analog inputs in r222b4. You can, of course, use an analog input as a switch by configuring one or more logical switches, not quite the same as a specific switch but still functional! I don't see the point of preventing the setting...

Re: Scripts for ersky9x

I've posted r222b4, which has some updates for the script language operation, script language thread for more details and an updated pdf. One change is to drawrectangle. This takes an optional fifth parameter which fills part or all of the rectangle from the left. This means the subroutine "hbar" is...

Re: Script Language

Some updates to the script language. crossfiresend() included. const added to allow defining numeric values by name. drawrectangle now takes an optional fifth parameter (percent from 0 to 100). If present then the rectangle will be filled for that percentage from the left. drawline now takes an opti...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Yes, it is fully functional as FrSky radios directly support the heartbeat signal. If you only use up to 8 channels it isn't needed, but for 9 or more it is recommended to obtain minimum latency.

Re: [SOLVED]How to install ERSky9x on Q X7 and update bootloader

422 should be OK. It is quite difficult for me to test everything in eepskye for all radios so there may be something that isn't quite right, but 422 will be better than the 14-Jul one anyway.

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Oops! I've missed adding it to the table of known functions, all the rest of the code is in. I don't have any crossfire hardware so haven't been able to test anything. I'm just sorting a couple of other things in scripting and intend to post 222b4 shortly. I've added the function to the table so b4 ...

Re: Scripts for ersky9x

I understand about the FIX, but where on the display should this appear? It doesn't appear on the image I have (with lots of red labels on it). I'll see what might be done for a battery display. Does it just say "SCRIPT ERROR", or does it inlcude an error code and a line number? Mine exits with no e...

Re: Scripts for ersky9x

OK, I've had a look round and it seems you are sending the number of satellites in T1, so try the following: gps_fix = getvalue("T2=") drawnumber( 30, 16, gps_fix ) gps_sat = getvalue("T1=") drawnumber( 127, 8, gps_sat ) To show the current RSSI value try adding: let percent = getvalue( "RSSI" ) dra...

Re: Scripts for ersky9x

You say you get a number 0 in the top left of the screen. It should be on the third line . My understanding is this number should be something like
100 * the number of satellites + the type of fix.

Re: Scripts for ersky9x

PLease try the following, change the line: gps_fix = getvalue("T2") to the two lines: gps_fix = getvalue("T2=") drawnumber( 30, 16, gps_fix ) This will put a value on the display on the third line, I need to know what this value is, together with the number of satellites and the type of fix. Also ch...

Re: Scripts for ersky9x

Someone else who does have a current sensor may like the current displayed. Please try changing the script yourself. For the battery voltage change "FasV" to "A2=" and see if that then shows the battery voltage correctly. To remove the current display, "comment out" the code. To make a line into a c...

Re: "Smart" Throttle Cut?

Companion is trying to be "clever" by only listing logical switches if they are defind when the editing window is opened. If it is going to do that, then in my opinion, it should do it dynamically so that when you create an entry for another logical switch, it then appears in the drop down lists for...

Re: Scripts for ersky9x

Here is a bit of a start. Since I don't have a naza, I cannot test it properly. I have an update pending for ersky9x so that "drawrectangle" takes an optional 5th parameter, "percent". If present, then that percentage of the rectangle will be filled from the left. This will remove the need to have t...

Re: eepSKYe

There seems to be a random problem with a logical switch set to timer with an AND switch. Sometimes, either the ON time or the OFF time gets cut short.I don't think this will be quick to find as the code is the same as that on the radio, but is driven by a Windows timer not a hardware timer. I can't...

Set up a logical switch like:
L01 AND SAv SAv duration 2.9
then another:
L02 Timer 0.5 0.5 AND switch L01
then use L02 as the source of a channel and the channel will toggle 3 times.

Re: Error compiling er9x on macOS

Try this version of en.h. I think some compilers require a space between multiple strings in a define. I'll need to investigate what the serial connectins are, I've never used one and flybabo did the changes to support them. I'll also need to check what defines need to be set for a serial LCD compil...
