Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Check the "Fuel" value, it seems I've put the mAh used in there. I'll move it to "mAh".

Re: Ersky9x Feature Requests

Ctot as 2 decimals is in my "ToDo" list for consideration. It is not just the display that would need changing, it would need to be stored to greater resolution, and anything else that uses it would need to be changed to handle the greater resolution (e.g. voice output).

Re: When a Taranis 9XD with a rotary encoder for navigation

On the X9D plus (ersky9x firmware), you are also able to use the "spare" analog input for a rotary encoder, so could replace one of the switches with an encoder.
The X9E comes with an encoder already.

ersky9x and openTx have no pre-defined "sticks-mode", every output is completely free form mixes. I would be very surprised if you need to do any code changes to achieve what you want. Have a look at eepskye (for ersky9x) or Companion (for openTx), the PC programs that let you set up models on the P...

The arUni runs ersky9x or openTx firmware. Both are open source, so are available for you to change. Why would you want to change the code?

Re: When a Taranis 9XD with a rotary encoder for navigation

Mechanically it is difficult to fit a rotary encoder on the Taranis, without needing a new case moulding.
Using ersky9x firmware on a Taranis, I support replacing one of the two rotary pots with a rotary encoder that connects to the pot signal using 4 resistors.

Re: Ersky9x Feature Requests

There will almost certainly be some sort of divider (or level translator) in the FLVSS, as well as a reference voltage, for the FLVSS to obtain the cell voltages in the first place. These will all be subject to some level of error, so while it is displaying the voltages to 2 decimal places, the exac...

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Please check the "TelRxCount" value is incrementing in the "debug" display (UP LONG then RIGHT 6 times).

You have the UsrProto set to Mavlk, this will route the telemetry to the Mavlink processing, not the CRSF processing. Try setting the UsrProto to Frsky.

Re: Ersky9x Feature Requests

I think the individual cell voltages are normally sent with a resolution of 0.02 of a volt. So a 4-cell battery total voltage could be 0.08 volt different from the displayed value. This is why only 1 decimal place is displayed. What could now be considered is to create a custom telemetry display usi...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

When you had the problems, how many others were operating their Tx at the same time? I'm just wondering if the telemetry throughput was reduced due to "frequency collisions". We know the problem appears if you "overload" the available throughput, and there is no real detection that telemetry data is...

Only use Type "Auto" when binding. Make sure you have the "Usr Proto" set to "DSMx" in the telemetry menu. This is needed to correctly recognise the response from the Rx when binding. Also make sure you have the correct polarity set for COM1 telemetry to match the polarity from the Multi module. If ...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

Nothing has changed in processing the HUB protocol between "c8" and "d4". There a basic problem with the hub telemetry as there is no "end-to-end" error checking, like a checksum.
Raw telemetry logs from "c8" and "d4" might help to see what might be the problem.

Check you are sending inverted serial data in to the D4R-II. As long as you are sending correct hub format data in to the D4R-II, then you should get LAT/LON.

Re: T-Cut Mixer templates not added to mix

As I understand it, eLUA was/is a patch that adds "read only tables" to standard LUA to reduce RAM usage. Looking at the code for eLUA and the LUA source I'm using, these are now available as standard so we are using eLUA in the implementation I've added.

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

At first glance, the raw telemetry is OK. I'll need to check in the code to see what might have changed. If I don't see something obvious, I'll post a test version that should locate where the problem is, but may need a day or so to do that.

Maybe it's time to implement a simple scripting language for ersky9x ;)
If you look at the last couple of test versions you will see that LUA is now available either as stand alone or on a custom telemetry screen.
LUA is rather RAM hungry, so I'm looking into something more streamlined!

Check the safety switches. On ersky9x, these provide the throttle cut function without needing any mixes set (including "sticky throttle cut").

"d2" and "d4" should work, I didn't think I'd changed anything to stop FasV from working.

Please try "d4", and generate a "raw log" of the telemetry, and post it here for me to investigate.

With a XJT/X8R, A1 is the receiver voltage. You need to set the ratio to 13.2v (not 11.4v), then you should see around 5V. I see you are running a provisional version of r219. r220 has been released, and there are provisional versions of r221 available. I have some diagnostics available for investig...
