Re: Aux 5 etc enable for gimbal control on POT

Could you define "AUX5" please?
The Tx normally outputs 8 channels 1 to 8, which the D8R then outputs.
Are you trying to get more than 8 channels from the PPM output of the D8R?
What Tx module are you using?

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Currently, I haven't had enough time to progress this, it is quite high in priority in my "to do" list! I think the master branch on Github does have the CRSF protocol code in it, but I hope to push the sources of where I'm at in the next few days. I've been porting the code to the Horus, and I've g...

I'm not aware of this being a general problem. What I would really need is to know what, exactly, you were changing on the model when the contrast got upset, and if this is repeatable.

Seems odd, have you set the mounting direction to match how you have the Rx mounted?

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio

The SD card is not responding to the "select" operation. I can only suggest checking the connections from the Arduino, via the level converter to the SD card.
The Arduino connection "10" is the CS signal, 11 is MOSI, 12 is MISO and 13 is SCK.

The SD card is not initialising, but it did in an earlier set of tests!
So this version tries to pin down why it is not initialising.

Re: S6R PC configuration STK USB adapter

I've had a couple of outings using a S6R. During the first flight, I found the servo centre didn't seem to be exactly the same in normal, stab and auto-level modes. I ended up making each of these a separate filght mode so I could have the trims set differently for each of them. That seemed to work ...

Re: Open Tx 2.2 For 9XR - 9XR pro

I think they all use the same actual protocol between the radio and the module. Most, however, ship with old firmware, so they need to be updated. The firmware you flash will then be correct anyway.

Yet another test for you to try please.

The chip select for the SD card does look to be on port B bit 2, which corresponds to D10 on the Arduino.

Re: SBUS FrSky Telemetry setup?

You seem confused with the naming here. SBUS is an output from the Rx that provides all 16 channel information for servo control. The telemetry is SPort (Smart Port). 1. Make sure you are plugging the lipo monitor into the SPort (connector at the antenna end of the Rx). 2. Set the protocol for the R...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio

Something that was OK in an earlier test is now not working. You had one situation where 5 minutes later you had a different output. The firmware is looking to check the SD is "mounted", so is present and has a FAT file system. This test shows that is failing, the 03(heart) is "Not Ready". After the...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio

That indicates the SD card is being initialised OK, so it is responding, and also the FAT file system is recognised. But it is then still failing to open the file, very odd. I'll see what I can come up with tomorrow. For the moment, all I can suggest is you delete all the files from the SD card, the...

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio

This suggests things are working, but the required file is not being found.
Please check once more that you do have a file "0040.WAV" (zero zero four zero) in the root of the SD card.
Also, is there a directory named "MODELS" on the SD card. The firmware should create one if it is not present.

I can't reproduce the FasV value changing with a test setup.
When testing, have a look at the "Logging" menu (in the Globals popup). A tick appears on the right of the display when data for each item is being updated. Does such a tick appear besie FasV?

This test version will, hopefully, pin down the reason for the failure to open the file. It sends a few more bytes after trying to open the file.

Re: ERSKY9x Questions

I assume you "Serial Lost" alarm occurs when you notice TmOK change from 2 to 1 or 0. TmOK changes from 1 to 2 when a "User Data" hub packet is received. This could happen due to simply powering up the oXs, causing the serial data signal to the Rx to change. If no more data is sent for a while, then...
