Re: Turnigy 9X - AFHDS 2A

So I just had a look at a logic capture of the PCM signal. From something regarding Futaba PCM 1024, I can see this looks to be the same. It will take some decoding though to work out what it actually means. Whether it is then possible to (easily) generate it is another matter. Since AFHDS2A is supp...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

I'll get those changes done so the repository is correct. SVN_VER_NUM needs to be 422 in stamp-eepskye.h. I think I need to put stamp-eepskye.h in the repository, it is normally created when I run a command line build for the Windows version, then used when I build the Linux version. Regarding the L...

As Daedalus says, either leave the Tx OFF, and plug the JR jack plug in, or set the "Trainer Source" to "Slave".

Re: How to receive GPS on 9xrPro Ersky9xr 221 g7

With everything running, go to the Telemetry/Logging menu. At the extreme right of the display, there is a tick shown beside any values that are being received. LAT and LONG are near the end of the items. See if either has a tick (not the one in te box that selects them for logging). Also, you could...

Do you have any idea what the PCM coding is? I have captured the signal on a logic analyser, so if I knew what it is, I might be able to see if failsafe data is sent.

Re: Range test: how to interpret readings?

I only have one number being displayed (RSSI). I did have a second number (TEMP2) displayed at one time for debug purposes (can't remember what now!). Pretty much, if you have a RSSI value of 50 at 50m in range check mode, then yes, you should expect the RSSI value to be 50 at 30 times that range on...

The bootloader is a different piece of firmware.
Go here: https://github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Mul ... e-firmware, then follow the instruction for "Burn the bootloader".

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

As far as I know, you need QTCreator installed on the MAC, then just get the latest source files from the Github repository (Master branch), and build the project "eepskye".

The usual person who does this has said he will be able to do the build at the weekend.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Curious, I just tested a STM Multi module (1.2.0.13) in FrSkyX protocol on the QX7 and range check reduces power in both places.
I'll need to flash "g7" as an extra check as I was using what I intend to be actual r221, but nothing has changed in this area.

Re: Turnigy 9X - AFHDS 2A

The stock firmware, the radio ships with, does include a PCM option and a failsafe setting option. I have asked elsewhere already as to whether setting the radio to PCM allows you to set the failsafe on the Rx, but, so far, I haven't had a reply. Even knowing if that works, it would then still be ne...

Re: FrSky DHT Trace cut or No Trace Cut ?

A "D" receiver (e.g. D8R) will send A1 and A2 voltages, but you need to set the scaling in the telemetry menu to get the correct value displayed, see the manual referred to 5 posts back for how to do this.

I don't know what a "Turnigy QBot radio adapter" is. Please provide a link to the device so we can help.
If it is using the trainer port, then you need to set the trainer source to "Slave" so the Tx outputs trainer PPM data rather than receives trainer data.

Download "X8R X6R FW20170210.zip". In that file are both versions. From their filenames it is clear (EU and NONEU) which is which.

That version is, in fact, r821, I slipped up with the SVN number on the build.
Holding the left trim to the left should give a message "Hardware Menu Enabled" at power up, then you should find the Hardware menu is accessible from the Radio Setup Menu.

Enable the Hardware menu by powering on with the left horizontal trim held to the left.

Seems like that board is working fine, without needing any mods done. Regarding BT 4.0, I have my HM-10 detecting the BT module in a Horus. By default, they are using a different "UUID" value, so don't immediately communicate, but the HM-10 includes a command to change the "UUID" value, so I may get...

No, if GPS data is sent over the SPort, then it should appear on the GPS display screen, and be available to log.

I would guess that the GPS data is not being sent from Betaflight.

Re: Throttle trim as flap adjuster

I think what you need to do is: 1. On the "Inputs" don't include the throttle trim with the throttle stick, this frees off the throttle trim. 2. On the "Inputs", create a new input with source Ttm. 3. Make sure FP1 and FP2 use their OWN throttle trim. 4. Create suitable mixes to control the flaps us...

I don't know Betaflight, but it seems you don't have any SPort telemetry working. SWR comes from the Tx module and RSSI comes from the Rx.

If the red LED is blinking, then at least the processor is working OK.
What bootloader did you flash to the module? The STMduino bootloader is for flashing from the USB, not the radio.

In the Arduino IDE, have you used the "boards manager" and installed "Multi 4-in-1 STM32 Board"?

Re: Realistic driving in land vehicles.

If your throttle (ratchet) stick is on the left, then you should be in mode 2. The radio needs this to be able to "know" where the throttle stick is in order to do the throttle check on power on/model select properly. Note that in each model, you may configure the throttle check to test for the stic...

Your original Tx is going to be "Universal", if it is that old. Where did you obtain your new purchase? Are you sure the "Universal" one you got was not actually an EU version? The type really affects only the firmware on the internal XJT module, and it is possible to flash that with the firmware yo...

Where the * indicates a Multiply mix
Only needs 2 mix lines.
