Re: ERSKY9X Coding

By "cansel/reset the telemetry voice" do you mean flush the queue of voice messages? If so, then you do have a "Flush switch" you may set. You will find that at the end of the model voice alerts. To make model NOTES you edit better(?), I'm adding more symbols (!"$%*() etc.), obtained instead of digi...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

Yes, there is a bug in the model General menu for the model voice setting. I've removed the option of using a numbered file and haven't got the highlighting sorted! Regarding the protocol, the flashing N/A indicates the multi module is reporting the selected protocol is not present. Please try 'A8 a...

Re: Coollvse OLED issue

My build before was probably not correct, I didn't add the SSD1306 code tp er9x so I'm not familiar with the compile settings needed and I think I missed a couple.
Try this build.
I don't know whether the LCD on this board is parallel or serial, I've guessed at serial.

Here is a build of er9x for the '128 processor with the SSD1306 selected as the display (there is a single define in lcd.cpp to select this display).

Re: Switch arm with DJI Naza M lite

Instead of "channel override", ersky9x uses the "safety switches". Set up a safety switch on each of channels 1-4 using the required logical switch as the control and set the required output value.
The set up for the logical switch should be the same.

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

A change I'm going to add. Currently, when on the main screen, a long press of EXIT resets timer1, and also resets several telemetry values including total mAh used from the flight battery. I'm going to move the telemetry reset to an option in the popup (the one when in a telemetry screen using a sh...

Re: Script Language

No intentional changes to the script operation in ersky9x. You could try backing up your EEPROM (just to be sure), then put r221 back on to see if the problem is with ersky9x or betaflight. Then, could you try reverting the betaflight firmware? I don't have betaflight so I can't do any testing.

One thing to try, go to the Display menu and tick the "Rotate" option an see if the display is then OK (just upside down).

Do you have a datasheet for the display?

The RTC is an I2C interface dvice, so you should see 3.3V on pins 5 and 6. Pins 1 and 2 connect to the crystal (X2).

Re: RTC not working

If the RTC doesn't run at all when you set it, as opposed to not keeping the time when poaered off, then the problem is unlikely to be the battery.
I'll possibly need to see if I can do some specific test firmware to help investigate.

Re: RTC not working

Check the RTC does run when you set it (I think you may have already done that).
The battery supplies power to the RTC chip (U2, a MCP79410-I/SN device) via resistor R81 (100 ohms) and diode D7, ending at pin 3 of U2. Check the battery voltage reaches each of these.

Re: Lost my model match when installing 2.2.1

I ran a quick test using a X-Lite internal XJT module in D8 mode. Bind to a D8R-XP with Rx number 0 ad the Rx continued to respond when I changed the Rx Number, so D8 mode doesn't support Rx number.

I made a bit of a start to this some time ago. When you run the simulator, you should see the word "WELCOME" appear on the "BEEP" button. This is actually the filename of a voice file. I did have the PC playing that one voice file, but found it too much every time I ran the simulator!

OK, got the fix. A temporary workaround is to change some other setting that isn't in the Logging dialog (then change it back!). That will "save" the Logging changes.

The LH trim switches connect to the main board on J4, connections 5 and 6. Try swapping these over. You should be able pull the crimps out of the housing to do that.

Re: Trim problem

You may check the trim wiring by going to the "DiagSwtch" menu. Trims that are pressed show up at the bottom right of the display.
The left column should change from 0 to 1 when a trim is either left or down.

The module uses an AVR XMEGA device that supports inverting the I/O signals from firmware. This option is set by the firmware you flash to the module.

"Receiver Number" is supported in the Multi-Protocol by modifying the unique ID for RF protocols that don't support the feature directly. I just ran Companion 2.2.1 and "Receiver Number" is present when setting the external protocol to "Multi", both in Companion and in the Taranis+ radio simulation....

Why are you concerned, on the 'PRO, with needing the COM1 invert option set? The 'PRO includes a programmable hardware inverter that does the inversion.

What revision of ersky9x are you using?
Check through the curves available, the first 8 are 5 point, then there are 8 9-point curves, then 2 x-y curves and finally a 6-point curve. I added this last one specifically for the situation you have.
