Re: Assign ID to exponential travel profiles

DrSw1 needs to be !ID^ (that is NOT ID^). When editing the switch value go DOWN to get the NOT switch values.

Re: Frsky R9M

Yes, definitely suported in "ersky9xProvR222b6", I can't remember exactly when I added it. I have flown with a R9M set to 25mW, so I get telemetry, and from the log file the RSSI was at least as good as using a XJT with a D8R.

Re: Assign ID to exponential travel profiles

Set DrSw1 to !ID^ (!ID0) and DrSw2 to IDv (ID2).
With the swith up you get high rate, in the centre you get mid rate and down gives you low rate.

Re: Jumper T12 OpenTX 16ch Radio with JP4-in-1 Multi-protocol RF Module

Comments on the T12, and module, I have. The T12 uses the same CPU connections as theFrSky QX7, but have left out the rotary encoder. The fork of openTx supplied then "maps" four navigation buttons onto the encoder code. This has the unfortunate effect that the "up" button moves up through menus, bu...

I just tried a laptop running XP, through the same router, so same IP address, and that logged me out quickly.
I agree it seems to be getting worse.

It's completely internal to the CPU, so not available for anything else.

No, the sensor is specified to have an offset accuracy of +/-15% of absolute temperature at 27 deg C (300 deg Abs), so +/- 45 deg!

I've just posted a new test version (822g). This includes support for the R9M in '128 and 2561 radios.
I tested I could bind on my '2561.

. . . But I believe it’s worth mentioning that 9XR Pro won’t work out of the box with X8R and telemetry. That was true when the 'PRO first came out, then HK contacted FrSky and they agreed the FrSky support for the XJT may be included. Later sales of the 'PRO used a more recent release (211 I think...

Re: FAA Unmanned Aircraft Systems Registration 2015 (FAA registrations are reinstated 2018)

The UK have updated the ANO (Air Navigation Order) to limit all models to 400 feet. However, due to work by the BMFA, SAA, LMA and FPV.UK, the CAA have granted an exemption for "traditional model aircraft" flown by members of those model aircraft associations to allow flying above 400 feet. We still...

Re: ERSKY9X Coding

Just adding a new function to voice alerts, "|d|>val". This allows changes in a value to trigger a voice alert. You could use it, for example, to announce your throttle position. It does need to be used carefully to avoid too many announcements. What I've found works best is to use a trigger of OFF,...

Re: Jumper T12 OpenTX 12ch Radio with JP4-in-1 Multi-protocol RF Module

I'm concerned regarding the FCC (and CE) approval for the module. I can find a filing under FCC ID:2ANTI-T12. This declares the RF has 4 independent high frequency chips (and then list them), but goes on to say the firmware only supports the CC2500, and the other 3 chips are not activated and end us...

STM32F2 I believe.
I note that the Tx has a FCC and CE mark, but the module doesn't seem to have them.

I was using my SKY board Tx to test out ersky9x support for the FrSky R9M module, flying an electric glider. Part way through the flight I lost voice output and had a voice underrun. I've now run some tests and found and fixed a problem so a voice underrun on Atmel based radios now doesn't lose the ...

Re: Battery connector

The battery connector is on the back board, and the two outside pins both connect directly to the ground plane of the board. This will provide a direct short. If, however, they got hot, you may find the solder melted and/or the small copper traces to the pads burnt. One pad as 3 traces and the other...

Since the multi-module supports the original Flysky protocol, do you still need the original Tx module?

Looks like a problem with the 9Xtreme communicating with the original main board. The backlight colours you describe are consistent with the 9Xtreme failing to see the AVR processor and then updating the code on the AVR processor (apparently successfully, shown by the green backlight). My best sugge...
