I assume this is with a "standard" Flysky type module in the Tx. Please confirm you have the external module set to PPM in the protocol menu.

Re: LUA on ersky9x

If I had time, I would implement thin C++ APIs for the position independent compiled executable that can be loaded from an SD card and run from RAM. The danger with that approach is the loaded code may be able to randomly access all of memory and so possibly cause the radio to malfunction and lose ...

Re: 9XR PRO FRSKY Telemetry

What firmware revision are you using on the radio? Try turning on logging, log about a minute from when you first plug in a battery, then post the log file here. You say you can see the FasV value on the display. Is this changing, or is it just "left" at a last value received? In recent test version...

Re: ERSKY 9xr PRO - bad rssi?

Have you updated the firmware in the 4-in-1 module? It may be that the module is sending the RSSI value even when the Rx is off. I seem to recall this was happening at one time, but the firmware was changed to fix it. Leave the FrSkyD "Type" set to "None". If you have a voltage on A1 on the Rx, but ...

Re: binding problem

I suggest turning off "Autobind", and using the "Bind" option to initiate the binding. While attempting the bind, let us know what the LED does on the Rx. Hopefully, the Irangex module firmware, as supplied, is supporting telemetry, which includes bind feedback data and firmware status information. ...

Re: Ersky9x Bug Reporting

I'm adding, at least for now, an option, like the logging menu, where you may choose to "block" selected telemetry items. This will allow you to stop receiving any cell data for cells that are not expected. For telemetry data that doesn't include any "end-to-end" checking (FrSky hub, DSM etc.), this...

I don't use linux myself, just run a copy in a virtual box to do the build. Since the development system is present, all dependencies are automatically satisfied.
I think you need a linux expert to answer this.

I've made quite a lot of progress with a "tiny" script language, testing it out on a PC. It is a bit like "tiny basic", but has some "improvements". It doesn't use line numbers, but uses lables. Variables are 32-bit integers, either individual or arrays, and you have byte arrays as well. It is fairl...

Ctot as 2 decimals is in my "ToDo" list for consideration. It is not just the display that would need changing, it would need to be stored to greater resolution, and anything else that uses it would need to be changed to handle the greater resolution (e.g. voice output).

Re: When a Taranis 9XD with a rotary encoder for navigation

On the X9D plus (ersky9x firmware), you are also able to use the "spare" analog input for a rotary encoder, so could replace one of the switches with an encoder.
The X9E comes with an encoder already.

ersky9x and openTx have no pre-defined "sticks-mode", every output is completely free form mixes. I would be very surprised if you need to do any code changes to achieve what you want. Re: When a Taranis 9XD with a rotary encoder for navigation

Mechanically it is difficult to fit a rotary encoder on the Taranis, without needing a new case moulding.
Using ersky9x firmware on a Taranis, I support replacing one of the two rotary pots with a rotary encoder that connects to the pot signal using 4 resistors.

There will almost certainly be some sort of divider (or level translator) in the FLVSS, as well as a reference voltage, for the FLVSS to obtain the cell voltages in the first place. These will all be subject to some level of error, so while it is displaying the voltages to 2 decimal places, the exac...

Re: CRSF protocol for TBS Crossfire?

Please check the "TelRxCount" value is incrementing in the "debug" display (UP LONG then RIGHT 6 times).

You have the UsrProto set to Mavlk, this will route the telemetry to the Mavlink processing, not the CRSF processing. Try setting the UsrProto to Frsky.

I think the individual cell voltages are normally sent with a resolution of 0.02 of a volt. So a 4-cell battery total voltage could be 0.08 volt different from the displayed value. This is why only 1 decimal place is displayed. What could now be considered is to create a custom telemetry display usi...
