Re: XJT beeping

You should look at the SWR value as a next step then, that's likely what's triggering it.

Yep, as said you'd have no more decimals anywhere. Unfortunately that's the only solution at this point.

Re: "Invalid binary EEPROM" Error Message

Companion 2.1 does not support the X7, you need to use the pre-release version of companion 2.2 to read X7 models, and configure it for the proper radio type first. The current version is RC16 and can be found here. http://www.open-tx.org/2017/04/14/opentx-2.2.0RC16 Read the page as it contains impo...

Re: remove decimal point when value spoken

If you never want a decimal for any announcement you can just delete the "point x" files.

Re: Start a new eeprom file

You don't handle separate models.

You read the entire radio in companion, make your changes (adding a new model being an example), then rewrite to the radio (and save on your PC for good measure as a backup).

Re: How to bind Spectrum Hack Module with JR10X or older radio that doesn't have bind function?

The hack module cannot work with such radios. Only radios that can be flashed with the open source firmwares can make use of it.

Measure the supply voltage coming from the radio. Could be a low voltage alarm.

Re: tranis x9d NOTplus

Looks like you've got a broken or disconnected cable int he telemtry sensor chain.

2.1 has significant changes to how telemetry is handled and configured. If you're already a bit lost now I wouldn't upgrade.

You can't power by USB. Any 2s lipo with matching balance plug will work though.

Re: 9x, XJT + telemetry S.Port AND D8(RS232) - possible?

Telemetry from D8 receivers gets transparently translated to S-Port by the module so it's available there too.

"Nothing works" means nothing. More detail needed. the only thing i can presume is that updating the radio to open tx 2.017 has something to do with it. No reason it would. Guess there's no answer to this one, looks like I'll be reflashing back to pre 2.00 version has anyone encountered problems doi...

If it was other people would have the same issue - but they don't.

Check your switch settings on the Hardware settings page.

Re: HORUS binding

For the Horus the module firmware is part of the FrSky OS, so when you update that your module gets updated to the corresponding version as well.

I don't know about the telemetry display, haven't used FrSky OS much.

The solution was simple, the multimodule just needs push-pull output mode selected instead of open drain.

Use a microSD card reader to put the firmware file on the radio's card in the FIRMWARES directory and update the firmware and bootloader.

Yes, check those switches and replace them if necessary... The little board with the 2 trim buttons is a $2.50 replacement part.

Re: HORUS binding

If you want to use FrSky software, then the EU-LBT version will not support any V and D receivers.

Your only solution to keep using them in that case would be to move all X receivers to non-EU firmware and use the non-EU version of the FrSky Horus software.

Don't understand the question... What data to the flight controller are you talking of?

The receiver always sends RSSI to the radio without anything else connected.

When you do a "flash external device" power should be turned on for a few seconds until it times out.

If we're sure that it's 5V we can change to have it powered at all times, but would just want a confirmation from someone who actually measured first.

Re: S.Port output on a Q X7 radio?

The bottom port has switched power that is used for sport firmware updates, but I believe it's battery voltage too (not sure though, my radio is from the first batch and doesn't have it...)

You could check by trying an update and measure.

As said, your key is stuck. It won't do anything until it's released and repressed, but as it's stuck that never happens.
