Re: telemetry issue horus opentx 2.2

Some people had problems in the past with intermittent contact of the CF module with the pin in the slot... maybe check it's firmly inserted.

The EzUHF is known to limit travel. Nothing you can do but install a servo extender between receiver and servo.

You say 2.1.6 at one place and 2.1.9 at the other - more importantly, what is your bootloader version?

Re: openTX ( 9XR pro ) issues

There is no stable 2.2 for anything since it's not even officially released yet...
These all seem like usage issues though, except maybe 3 since I believe that's been an occasional issue even in previous versions.

Re: Trim are reversed

No they are not and the diagram is correct - IF they were they would not be reversed. The weight affects only the stick signal, when you set a negative weight the stick gets reversed but since the trims precisely do NOT it's normal for both to now work in the opposite way. Conclusion - do not use ne...

Re: ER9x and Windows 8 / 8.1

There are USBASP driver packs that work on win8/10, and you can also install a working driver for it using Zadig. The first Google result for "USBASP Windows 10" leads you to full instructions in 2 clicks.

Re: Trim are reversed

No, the diagram is correct, as you can see the trim is added at the end of the whole chain, so is not affected by the weight.

It does not need to be 0x0D but has to be one of the 28 valid smart port physical IDs and not conflict with something else.

Re: Controlling taranis from computer over USB

No, as said there is no mechanism in place to get any data to/from a computer through USB while operating.

There is a virtual serial port facility but it is only used for debug. Using it to pass data to/from lua is possible but that needs to be coded.

What kind and to where?

They can send things over the air in OpenTX 2.2, see S6R and betaflight configuration scripts.

Re: TARANIS + FVAS-02H + FAS-40 + D8R XP + GPS V2 (S.PORT)

Smart port only sensors can't be used on D receivers. The vario does D to Smart port conversion but not the opposite. Someone might have developed an arduino bridge but I'm not sure anymore, haven't used D stuff for years.

Re: Open Tx 2.2 For 9XR - 9XR pro

If you have a PRO the 9XR indeed doesn't have a lot of interest... just backup, maybe buddy box too. OpenTX indeed doesn't support multiprotocol on AVR radios.

Re: Open Tx 2.2 For 9XR - 9XR pro

The 9XR-PRO does not use an STM32 processor so none of the STM or Zadig stuff applies.

You jsut power up with the horizontal trims pinched to center, set companion to use a 9XR-Pro, use it to download 9XR-PRO firmware and download the SD card contents (Taranis ones will do).

The whole point is you don't need to flash anything, and you already have open firmware on your radio, just an old version.
