Radio general settings, Hardware tab, pots are likely not set correctly.

It's not in the sensors, you need to use the "Batt" choice which is before the sensors in the list.

He's likely got versions mixed and is actually using a nightly of 2.2.2.

You cannot remove the message (unless you compiled yourself of course).

Re: OpenTX - Issue with telemetry and "toggle" function

Rereading your post you mention short and long presses too, that's done using the "Edge" LS type.

It'is not clear what your "alt" value comes from. The telemetry simulator simulates standard FrSky sensors, so will not work with the "proprietary" C&T stuff.

Re: Qx7 rxbt telementry voltage

You're probably using a BEC which gives a constant 5V to your receiver, so you can't use RxBt to read your battery voltage, you need an extra sensor. Also it seems you might be confused, RxBt is the supply voltage of the receiver , but what you say suggests you're trying to look at it to see the rad...

Re: problem with flashing FrSky R9M

FrSky bootloaders are secret. Only the factory and maybe one or 2 service centers have them. You will need to send your module to one of them.

If you don't get a popup menu then go in radio settings and set USB to either Mass Storage or Ask (which would show the menu).

Re: OpenTX - Issue with telemetry and "toggle" function

"XXt" toggles were kind of a hack before something better was done.
In current versions you can use a "Sticky" logical switch with both triggers set to the same switch position to recreate a toggle.

Battery holders have several decades of experience killing models. If not already when new corrosion always ends up creeping in after a few years.

Re: RSSI drops to 12 - but only with a particular model selected

Try changing the Receiver number on that model to that of another that works, and vice versa. S receivers have exhibited issues related to some IDs before, which again were solved by a receiver firmware update.

Re: RSSI drops to 12 - but only with a particular model selected

Is that only when being close or does it stop when you move away (usual swamping issue?)

If not updating receiver firmware is all that I could think of. If the radio shows 12 it means the receiver sent 12...

Re: OpenTX Companion simulator - no voltage readings

Cels not playing is normal. On the radio it is a "special" sensor containing 6 voltage values, but in the logs Cels is logged as the sum of those, the detail is lost.

Re: Taranis QX7 bluetooth

Here are files attached, you need to use this to program an arduino with and load the bootloader:
https://github.com/RedBearLab/CCLoader

Then use TI's SerialBootTool to flash firmware:

Re: Taranis QX7 bluetooth

As I understand it, the module in the Horus won't "talk" to the one in a X9E. They are physically identical but run different, incompatible firmware. The X9E module can be reprogrammed, but it is a bit of a pain becasue it does not even have a bootloader. So the bootloader must first be flashed, th...

It does but is picky about the usually non-significant PPM polarity and pulse timings so you might need to play a bit with the parameters to get it to work.

Re: SBUS Trainer input

The reason there is no SBUS input on pin 2 on Horus is that the MCU pin it's connected to is not a serial port RX capable pin like on Taranis. Nothing to do with a resistor.

Yep. Just put an XJT in the module bay and disable telemetry on it.
You might need to mount the antenna a bit away from the internal one.

Re: Binding two FrSky's receiver at a time #X8R #RX8R #L9R #RB-10 Redundancy bus ?

You can't bind an X8R and an L9R simultaneously to the same module, you'd need a 2nd module.

Dual receivers are already useful if they have the same range since what matters is the diversity of antenna placements.

Re: "New" 9x's forget bind

The common way to do things is that only the receiver stores data about the transmitter, not the opposite. It is however possible that it doesn't work that way on AFHDS2A and the transmitter also has to store something. Since a standard 9x has no advanced way of communicating with the module anythin...
