The FrSky GPS sensor is very slow. Rest is delay-free.

Re: Loading model setup directly onto SD card.

Seems you might have a mismatch between the radio type you've set in companion, and/or not the same versions. GVARs are in the flight modes on small screen radios.

Should work straight. Maybe a pull-up needed for the PPM signal.

Again there are multiple "standards" for that too. 80% is compared to Spektrum, not sure about others.

Re: Loading model setup directly onto SD card.

That mode of operation is not supported. There is a workaround if you launch the sim, on model select you do a model backup, move that file that will be in the SD card copy's "MODELS" directory into the dir of the real card, and "Restore" on an empty slot in the radio.

Re: Cannot open Flight Path in Google Earth

The radio logs at 10Hz when set to, but since it only receives a new position once a second from the sensor it logs 10 times the same thing.

There are DIY sensor options that are faster, but with the FrSky one that's all you'll get.

Re: Cannot open Flight Path in Google Earth

The GPS module doesn't send data faster than 1/sec to the radio, so you can log all you want but wont have any more detail.

Re: Flashed Er9x - extremely disapointed

In this video, you can clearly see that the "Down Button" must be pressed, in order to complete the flashing process! And this is Er9x firmware asking me to do so. (of course video is NOT mine, but I get the exact same screen). It has nothing to do with the the flashing process, and can be done at ...

Re: Electromagnetic wheel brakes - proportional control

You need to link to your brake system to see how it works. Those I've seen cannot be controlled proportionally, and if you've already got it on a proportional contol but it works as on/off only it's most likely the case of yours.

Mike did you fix the Wiki today? The whole issue he had about hardware is that it was defaced and probably has been so for a few weeks/months, so all guides that relied on it were gone.

Re: Another two modules thread. 2.0

This is the best hardware, but comes with unusable software out of the box, has to be reflashed which in practice makes it more complicated to get working as it should than the version with the case.

Models on the Horus are stored on the SD card, there is no eeprom chip like on the Taranis, so the eeprom-specific functions don't exist. So either back up the card, or use companion.

If the bootloader is version 2.1.6 from FrSky it might have a bug when accessing the card through USB, so you want to update that (put the file on the card using another reader).

Don't post files, post links to where to get the current files. Posted files get oudated, people find them a year later when they're not current anymore and confuse the person who then gets into a mess following wrong instructions instead of getting help.

You have to use smart port if you use an X receiver, and FrSky if you use a D receiver.

What kind of "wrong"? Usually that's due to missing actual voltage measurement hardware ont he aircraft or improper FC configuration.

The names you put in the radio mean nothing. You must simply check that for the different switch postions your GS tells you the mode you want is selected, adjust positions if not. Your issues sound more like an aircraft setup problem. Improper GPS/compass location, bad/no compass calibration, improp...

Did you also move the cable to the STK's other plug? Recevier must be plugged in the same side the switch is set to.
