Re: Firmware not loading to Taranis ?

If it didn't change then you didn't copy the correct file to the card. Check the filename which lists the options.

Re: Firmware not loading to Taranis ?

What are the versions of firmware and bootloader you currently have? You might have the FrSky 2.1.6 bootloader which has broken USB functionality. If so update it, possibly using the SD card.

Writing to Horus is almost instantaneous. By the time you've gone to "eject" the drive it's done anyway.

Just move the receiver further away form the radio. Will do that with all X and S receivers when too close.

The file is either "tada.wav" or "hello.wav" depending on the OpenTX version you're on.

Re: Timer Count Down Value Change Requires Reboot

It's normal to require a reset of that timer to the new value, you wouldn't want a change (potentially accidental) to automatically overwrite the current value.

A reboot or full "flight reset" is obviously not needed though, jsut resetting that particular timer.

Re: Taranis to Horus Mapping problem openTX 2.21

No, you just change the sources back to what you want where applicable.

Since physical layout of the different radios varies you might want to choose different controls anyway.

Re: Extra 3POS switch?

You need 2 resistors to define a middle level, pretty sure there's a diagram somewhere.

Then you use either the pot source as is, logical switches or the "multipos switch" feature but that will depend on what radio you have and what firmware version, you mentioned neither.

Which of the STM32 modules did you buy exactly?

It makes little sense to use 2. Just use one that works well.

I don't think FrOS supports multiple sensors of the same type anyway.

Re: X9D only 9 channels?

These have nothing to do with channels, they are the analog inputs on the radio. Your channels need to be populated in the mixer for something to be put out. Again look at the channel monitor. If you can get 10 channels to move, and have the PPM settings set to put out at least 10 channels then the ...

What he said is that ersky9x code would need to be changed, but that has little chance of happening becasue confusing all existing users who have gotten used to something over years for a cosmetic thing one person is bothered by isn't very smart.

Of course it supports more, up to 16 per module.

Again, did you set the number of channels sent correctly?

If it does make sure you have set the PPM settings to output 10 channels.

It is normal for both to work at the same time as long as the sensor physical ID is set to a different value.

What "10 channel receiver" are you using and how since there isn't any receiver with 10 servo outputs in FrSky's product line?

If I remember well you can't get altitude from A2, that only gives vertical speed.

Altitude needs to come from hub telemetry.

Possibly. Make sure it is as far as possible from the receiver as it can be disturbed by it.

Re: [Q7s] Popup of a joystick menu at startup 2.2.1

What voltage do you measure on the USB VCC pin? and i you follow that onto the mainboard? I do not think it is a safety issue. You could set the USB mode to Joystick in the radio settings menu to avoid having the popup and/or selecting storage by mistake (which disconnects the SD and locks the menus...

Something is putting a voltage on the USB positive supply line so the radio thinks it's connected to an USB port.

Re: Newbie help, servos won't travel past ~50%

You do know the S8R is a stabilizing receiver, and if its stabilization functions are enabled requires setup and calibration, including allowed travel amounts?

If the channel monitor shows correct movement then that's what you now have to do.
