Re: Starting with OpenTX

The page you downlaoded OpenTX from.

http://www.open-tx.org/2017/01/27/opentx-2.2.0RC10

There may be third party documentation but I haven't been following everything.

Re: Starting with OpenTX

1) 2.2 is not officially released yet, may still contain bugs, and the wizard is known not to be ready yet. 2) If you read the message it says expected SD card version, not firmware... i.e. you need to download the SD card files as explained on the website page, extract them somewhere and point to t...

Re: Dual FLVSS lowest cell.

You must create a new Calculated sensor yourself to extract the Lowest cell, same for the Minimum.
Don't touch the discovered ones beyond renaming them for easier recognition.

What are you trying to "change" exactly?
Square brackets means no data has been received for this sensor for more than I believe 10 seconds.

Re: Changing certain things upon boot up?

It's not clear what you actually want, for me throttle cut is on a switch so switch warnings would take care of that.

On OpenTX you can set a warning for custom positions of the auxiliary pots but the throttle stick warning is currently bottom only.

Re: Dual FLVSS lowest cell.

Lowest will give you the lowest of that pack. You can then use an extra "minimum" sensor to find the lowest of both.

Re: Turnigy 9xr pro to Taranis x9d plus throttle issue

The 9XR's sticks have particularly short mechanical throw (shorter than Taranis), so it will probably feel more "sensitive". You could compensate for that by increasing mix ratios, which would result in some deadband at stick throw ends but similar response.

Re: Gspd and Galt

With your setup I'm not sure, you'll have to do some research. FrSky's GPS will only work with X series receivers, not with D series. There are bridges that can take the info from the Naza and relay it to the receiver, but I don't have links or names at hand and they may also only work with smart po...

Yes as long as the OpenTX version you load doesn't have the "eu" option checked.

You should flash your internal module and all X receivers with EU-LBT.

D receivers are not affected.

Sounds like you neither have a GPS sensor connected nor a Naza to FrSky bridge? How do you expect the data to reach the radio?

That's not a lot of info.

All servos apart from throttle have default limits and travel when in the full rate. Maybe he's on another rate?

The code is here:

The supplied files and csv are generated here:

I know people have been working on that recently, but have not tested or verified it.

Then transmission failed in the middle of reading parameters. Make sure you're not too close to the receiver and try again.

Re: One time lua scripts.

You have examples in the wizard, the S6R script, the crossfire script (the last 2 for 2.2, but you didn't specify a version).

Looks like you're just missing a "return 0" in your function. print() puts out things on the debug serial port, you want lcd.drawText() to actually display on the screen.

The first position received after a telemetry reset is stored as home position, and a Dist calculated sensor will give you either 2D or 3D distance as desired.

Re: Computer for Input, Taranis as Conduit/Bridge

Theren isn't anything built specifically for this in OpenTX, but there are several arduino-based projects that allow you to create an RC-compatible signal from a PC. You can then send that either straight into an RF module, or through a radio's trainer port for further processing.

Any FRSky-compatible BNF quad you would buy today would be using either D or X receivers, an old V8 module won't control either of these, only the V receivers.

The firmware file includes the bootloader. Either copy it onto the card with an external reader, or use the "power off" flashing method.

Re: Servos are vibrating when starting th9x

Also powering things with bad connections could have damaged the module. If the ground connection is missing current may flow through signal pins instead and damage them.
