Re: Selecting switches on Mixer page
Are you trying to set up the switch as source for the mix channel or as a switch with MAX as source. You don't want to use a switch as both, if you use a switch as source switch should be ---. In any case move the cursor to either source or switch (whichever you are selecting) and click the enter wh...

Re: Vario with EdgeTX, FS-IA10B and FS-CAT01
The FS=CAT01 is an altitude sensor not a vario. I'm not sure but I don't think Flysky makes a vario. This thread explains it more: https://github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/issues/624 There has been lua scripts that attempt to use the altitude sensor as a crude vario but I don't kn...

Re: Taranis/D8RIIplus binds but won't move servos
Edit: Deleted post I didn't understand the problem which I believe is that Companion allows setting the channel range below 1-8 for access and the transmitter does not and doing so will not work with the R4 receiver. I haven't seen the specifications for the access receivers so perhaps setting the c...

Re: Radio not found with Companion 2.3.15 on Mac
I'm not a Mac user, but from what I've read Apple made some changes in Ventura that broke some programs. Yours sounds like the same problem that was reported in edgeTX. Here is a link to the issue report: https://github.com/EdgeTX/edgetx/issues/2742 And another to the fix pull request: https://githu...

Re: D8 Receiver binding lost.
D8 does not have model match so no need for receiver numbers. Any D8 receiver will respond to any D8 model in the same transmitter so you need to be careful to select the correct model. And in 8 years with 15 D8 models in my X9D I've only made that mistake once. I don't know why a receiver would los...

Re: More 9xd se 2019 questions
The SD card contents were unchanged from 2.3.12 to 2.3.14 so you can use the V38 contents and just edit the opentx.sdcard.version file in the root of the SD card and change 2.3V0038 to 2.3V0036 to get rid of the expecting SD card version message. Really strange that you could flash 2.3.14 form the S...

Use Companion's "Edit Radio Splash Image" to embed your splash image into the firmware before copying to the sd card for flashing.

Re: Taranis 9xd Plus Firmware
No you can upgrade it to 2.3.x He is saying you will not be able to upgrade the X9D plus to 2.3.12 (unless you already have it) because Companion will only download the latest version of a release which for 2.3 is 2.3.14. If it were me I would update both of them to 2.3.14 before moving anything acr...

You are still not getting the zadig driver deleted. If you do not delete the driver it will reinstall instead of the default Windows driver. Are you sure that when you uninstall the device you are taking the delete the driver option? https://www.technipages.com/windows-10-how-to-update-and-uninstall...
Re: opentx
If you installed a driver with Zadig with the transmitter powered on that is your problem. The Zadig driver is only used to connect the transmitter powered off and is only needed if you completely brick your transmitter and need to recover it. If you install it with the transmitter powered in boot m...

Re: Frsky R8 PRO receiver AIN2 port not working?
He is talking about the Archer R8 PRO which does have a A2 input. I don't have one, but the instructions read like it has a 10 to 1 voltage divider built in and can take an input to 36 volts directly and doesn't need a FBVS-01 or voltage divider. Perhaps somebody that knows for sure can comment as I...

Re: D6FR Rx binds with Taranis but no telemetry
The sensors populate the screen as soon as you do the discover. You should get RSSI, A1 and A2 even with nothing connected to A2. I'm using home made voltage divider sensors, but don't connect the ground to the battery either.

Re: D6FR Rx binds with Taranis but no telemetry
Bummer, no ideas? Anyone actually using this config (OpenTX 2.3 + FrSky D6FR) successfully? If so, what does the Tx model setup look like. I have 6 or 8 of those receivers in use. X9D (original not plus) openTX 2.3.9. My setting is the same as yours XJT D8 mode (1-8 channel). No problem with teleme...

Re: Compiling for Radiomaster TX16s
I am getting no errors compiling on openSUSE LEAP 15.2. I don't have the transmitter so don't know if the firmware works, but it compiles clean. Are you using the recommended version of gcc-arm-none-eabi? People seem to have problems if they don't use the recommended version. I think it's gcc-arm-no...

Re: New beta version of openXsensor (=openXvario)
I hope this will be an option with default to old pin so as to not break compatibility with all the existing sensors and all the old drawings and information. I would hate to have to rewire a sensor just to make a program change (or try to remember to change my config file).

Re: Taranis X9D Bricked.
Try it powered off, it uses completely different methods powered on and powered off. Powered off uses the dfu loader burned into the processor and not openTX bootloader and can't be bricked by a bad load. It also reloads the openTX bootloader. Try a different cable too.

Re: Taranis X9D Bricked.
There is no difference in Companion between the X9D and the X9D+ but there is a difference in the firmware that it downloads for them. You tell it which you have under settings. I was questioning it because you said X9D bricked and not X9D Plus bricked. In any case since you have a Plus you download...
