Re: New X9d+ SE 2.3.0 (2a05543a) question, now what?
Thanks. I knew better though. It's our rush season at work, 10hours + days, including today. Would be one heck of a paycheck if I made that much money. We'll not go into my failed brain surgeon career other then to say little Billy is doing better everyday. Comedy now dis-engaged. So I didn't mess w...

New X9d+ SE 2.3.0 (2a05543a) question, now what?
I have an old Taranis. I like my old Taranis but I wanted to update the sticks and I wanted the Haptic feedback and I wanted to have an antenae that I can swap and I wanted a transmitter that I hadn't melted the little posts to hold the switches in already with no hope of melting them again. So I bo...

Re: Taranis and flight simulators
Ahhhhh, see last weekend I tried to get this working, using old and wrong info OR just bad assumptions (I mentioned operator error didn't I?). I lost communications with my Taranis and finally got it back by deleting multiple installs of the drivers from Zadig. I would un-install the driver, un plug...

Re: Taranis and flight simulators
And what REALLY gets me is, I don't generally do simulators that much. But I'm trying to get my thumbs back into shape although this quad copter I've been flying in the backyard is getting easier. I actually can fly it just out of Juice range instead of a mile high like when I started. (Juice would ...

That's what I do, though I swapped the settings of mine for yours in Open RX. I believe my ppm was 25 and pulse was set at negative all else was the same. Here's what I get in windows Devices and Printers http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f342/mrclean417/Snapbucket/TaranisWindows8Icon.png And here's...

Re: Taranis and flight simulators
I used the Wizard and made channels 1-4 TAER with 5 for flaps and turned them on to slave. In Control Panel/Devices Printers Windows names it FrSky Joystick controller but either gives it a game controller lookout with no calibrated inputs or as a box with type of device unknown. I'd bet its a windo...

Re: Taranis and flight simulators
TrueBuild, I looked at doing this last weekend. When I got my drivers sorted out and my Companion working again I just ordered one of those dongle packages from Banggood. It's a week later, I know what i did wrong last week so I set up a model as Simulator, turned off the TX section and put channel ...

Re: Is it possible to reverse a servo?
You can pull the servo, swap the outer wires on the potentiometer on the inside of the servo and the motor leads and put it back together, it will now turn the opposite direction.

I don't know, they're running contrary to common supply and demands dictate. With no availability price should be astronomical not valuless.

I think his videos are a hoot. But did you all see the Ringbu's crash video yesterday? over an hour of crashes? I had to tap out after a bit, I think it's half over on my PC.

Nah, you won't bump the switch by accident, those knobs are brightness, contrast and volume.Romolo wrote:Just few comments about the horus:

Re: Want the timer to count every second from 30seconds to z
Tell that to my buddies 172. It was totaled, the deer ran off. It's a bitch when you've done everything perfect, the stall indicator just starts to go off as your mains touch ground and a brown flash Flashes in front of your prop and makes it all the way to the wingtip where it slews you straight to...

Would like to be able to replace it when needed. I've yet to have an anntenae that I haven't eventually stuck in a running prop.

Re: FrSky Rx Antenna Mounting ?
Ha! Well, as I'm flying them in my SPAD's I drill a hole in the PVC going out the side and the bottom and stick the wires out. My bigger plane I have one going down the bottom and I have a piece of nyrod pointed straight up that I thread the other up for that 90 degree stuff.

I went to a flyin last week, a week ago exactly, sigh I'm at work. Anyways I showed off my new Taranis. The people heard the lovely ATT girl greeting me when I turned it on and I showed them my flash screen. They also saw me sitting cross legged trying to figure my Gassers throttle out, ugghhh. Got ...

.eepe are your eprom plane setups flash files. bin files are your transmitters firmware flash files.

Re: Taranis power and charging?
They put in a standard option that works well out of the box. They knew we were all going to go optimize that setup with batteries of our own choice and though the LiFe looks like the way I'll go, I've read others using Lipo. It really would drive the cost of putting a charger on board that would kn...

Yes, there it is now. What had really happened causing me problems is the lower level with no contrast control and then me reading everyone adjusting theres. I looked at the downloaded level of FW and it is current BUT it wasn't burned to my transmitter and I couldn't get it there for the life of me...

Re: How do you change the screen contrast?
On the radio it say opentx -r2588 but when I click on the preferences tag on Opentx it says 2688. Don't know why those two are off or xactly how to fix it yet, that would be a nice question too. I've seen in the general settings tab where you can adjust backlight and contrast there but it doesn't se...

How do you change the screen contrast?
With my experience on my JR radios, when the display gets warmer the screen changes intensity making it necessary to adjust screen contrast. It's listed on the front cover there what buttons to push to get the screen to change. I can't find any reference to this in the manual for the Taranis and the...

I've often had issues with what works for one version of Windows doesn't quite fly with another. However, with the above instructions and running Windows 8 Zadig got me up and running and with a little paintshop I've got this http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f342/mrclean417/Snapbucket/th_077535C1-o...
