Re: "Dead Space" on the sticks?!

Hi guys just for info. I have fitted the new M9 gimbals to my radio and no longer need dead space. Throttle track is so precise and has to be forced to move left or right. I'm well pleased this is just a bonus on top of superb gimbals.
Thanks for all the suggestions and comments. Kevin.

Re: New M9 gimbals not calibrating correctly

thanks for suggestions guys,I had tried a new model and checked the subtrim but the problem persisted, decided to try one last calibration.Guess what saw the stick suddenly centre on the calibration screen. The only thing I did differently was to move the sticks separately one at a time rather than ...

Re: New M9 gimbals not calibrating correctly

Now this is really weird I've refitted the original gimbals and they are showing exactly the same problem even after calibrating. Certainly wasn't like this before. Sod's law sold my spare Taranis last week having never used it in 2 years.

New M9 gimbals not calibrating correctly

Wonder is this a problem with my X9D. I have just fitted the new M9 gimbals to my Taranis and calibrated them, Im using mode 2 and the right stick is perfect with the channel monitor showing everything as near zero as not to matter. However the left stick is showing 20% right trim on the rudder, Ive...

Sorry guys been ill for last few days, kalle is 2.19 likely to make that much difference from 2.017? Bob mysteriously it lost bind on one occasion but instantly rebound. Kilrah, sorry a better explanation, after moving all the components the receiver still controls all the servos but the lipo senso...

Re: "Dead Space" on the sticks?!

My apologies for not being specific, the stick control of the rudder remains exactly the same even with 100% expo or the Scott Page mixes detailed, the slightest deviation from centre when applying throttle causes the quad to move in whichever way the stick has moved slightly. Having suffered 3 stro...

JST connectors

Has anyone yet found a source for the micro jst 1mm 3 pin cables as used on the vd5m? I have searched everywhere, problem is searches return hundreds of 2,4,6 pin and generally 1.25mm or 2.0 mm. Kevin.

Was this ever sorted? I have exactly the same problem but mine is also happening with a VD5M receiver which is an even bigger pain to re_bind due to cables that need to be removed to fit the bind cable. Kevin

Hi guys, hope you can help I've built a spectrum module for my Taranis using a djt module case from T9. Geoff, all I remember is, when I changed from a previous model the calibration screen came up on the transmitter never thought anything of it and just hit exit which returned me the correct model. Guess I should have checked.

Ditto show master I have a phoenix 2000 from HK with pre-fitted servo's but I'm about to remove them and use 2 for the flaps after testing. I usually soak test for 15 mins, maybe I should up it to 30 min!

Ailerons not responding equally to stick movement

I was flying my AXN after setting up a new model on my Taranis. As soon as I launched I realised control was extremely erratic, eventually I cut the throttle and the model came down about 1km away luckily with only slight damage. On checking I found the right aileron movement was fine ,giving full m...

Sorted thanks all. Kilrah you were spot on found the problem last night after watching a Scott Page video. I feel a right Muppet, did'nt realise trims could be turned off in the mixer. I still don't know how it happened I just know I never been aware of deliberately switching it off.

This may not be a Taranis problem

Recently whilst flying my AXN I found I had no rudder trim. Checking later I find that all the sound and screen indicators show that the trim is moving but nothing is happening. I'm using a V8r II receiver and a simple TREA set up. I've swapped the servo to a new unit still no movement, however, whe...

The transmitter won't switch off but still appears to work properly when switched on. Umm... Care to expand on that statement, as it doesn't make too much sense when I read it. With the main on/off switch in the 'on' position, all the menus work as far as I can tell. I assume it will transmit but w...
