Re: Advise on GPS alternatives
Are you guys aware that someone has worked on new firmware for the FrSky GPS to address this issue? We had a discussion of using FrSky equipment to do GPS triangle racing (soaring) and the FrSky GPS delay became quite apparent. One of the participants decided to try rewriting the GPS firmware to red...

Re: LUA Model Script Variable Issue
I filed a bug report on Github, but I know they have a lot on their plate with the Horus coming out.

LUA Model Script Variable Issue
I'm running OpenTX and Companion 2.1.9 on a Taranis. When returning variables from a model script there appears to be a discrepancy between Companion and OpenTX. For example, if I try to return 1, 2, 3, or 4 by multiplying by 10.24 (return var * 10.24), in Companion it works fine but in OpenTX some ...

Re: Conditional telemetry
Is the GPS delay present in the data being sent from the sensor to the receiver? Or, is there more delay added after that?
Thanks,
Randy

Re: Conditional telemetry
From the experimentation I have been doing with the S-Port GPS V2 unit, the only problem you will have is the lag between real-time and the GPS data update, I estimate this to be a variable but typical 3-7 secs. I have also stumbled upon the GPS lag effect while experimenting with some GPS LUA scri...

Re: LUA Model Script returned values and LS
Granted, floating point values are not necessary, but I don't see a way to return higher precision integer values. For example, using Logical Switches I can compare Alt up to 3000m, Dist up to 10000m, RPM up to 30000, etc. Is there a way to return a script calculated value to OpenTX so that I can pe...

Re: LUA Model Script returned values and LS
Ok, so a Model script value is passed to OpenTX as a percentage of 1024. Is there any way to return higher precision integers or perhaps floating point values to OpenTX from scripts? In Telemetry scripts there are no return values that I know of. The only thing I've come up with is to pass values vi...

LUA Model Script returned values and LS
I have a simple LUA Model Script that calculates a value and returns it to OpenTX. That value appears in the Logical Switch and Special Function sections but when assigned to a Logical Switch, I can only compare it to -125 to +125, nothing larger. The value appears to be treated as a source. Is ther...

Re: REQUEST - OpenTX 2.x GPS Horizontal Distance
Looking at the Jeti and the SM-Modellbau GPS sensors, they let you select between 2D and 3D distance. Splitting the OpenTX Dist parameter into Dist2D and Dist3D would really be helpful. Other than that, it's difficult to match OpenTX's flexibility with the Jeti system.

REQUEST - OpenTX 2.x GPS Horizontal Distance
Would it be possible to add a GPS distance value that does not include altitude but only horizontal distance?

Re: OpenTX - Nightly builds for pre-2.0 testing
Is there any way to tell if a nightly build has any changes from the previous night?
Thanks,
