Re: FrskyX Smartport telemetry supported on Ersky9x9xt?
Hi Mike! I'm on ar9x board with the latest ersky9x test firmware and X series RX. There is still I have SWR=32 all the time. And often, when I power cycle my TX, I get not right RSSI reading. It shows 37 for RSSI and not changing the value. After power cycle it often fixes and shows correct RSSI, bu...

Re: OpenXSensor for DLG with 1S LiPo
I have yet to start with Arduino and therefore a lot to learn. I might be missing a lot, but anyhow.... Can you tell me why you don't have these 2 PCB's on top of each other?? It was not an option in my case. I have very narrow space in mine DLG. To have them on top each other will not fit. But if ...

Re: custom PCB
Wow! Looks very good! What is the purpose to separate VIN on SP connector and BAT + pin on BAT connector? Should they be interconnected? Or at least to have a Bridge that can be shorted to connect them together? Also, maybe you can rotate on connector to have both GND pads square. :) What do you thi...

If you converted your POT to the 3pos switch, then I would create a logical switches for every position... I did not found any other solution...

Re: custom PCB
Thank you dschiedsch for willing to make PCB for DLG! :) In case of 2S power, DLG PCB should have resistor divider to measure each cell. I do not know how far is the reverse engineering of FrSky Telemetry protocol went. So far I seen only implemented RSSI and A1/A2 data. We should wait until other T...

Re: OpenXSensor for DLG with 1S LiPo
So, today I had a test of my OpenXsensor vario.
Works very well, stable and adequate readings, so no need any additional stabilization of power or decoupling.
Today was quite windy about 10m/s.
Had a flight for 21 minute with max altitude at 54 meters.
Excellent tiny vario!

Thank you temo for the datasheet! I also found one reference for the LDO on this board and it seems that there is a good quantity of variations. One I found on this forum is ME6211 ( http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=6808&p=94148&hilit=me6211#p94148 ) and it rated for ma...

OpenXSensor for DLG with 1S LiPo
I have 1m DLG with FrSky receiver. There is not much space left in the fuselage, but I want to install Altimeter. OpenXSensor very good candidate. The size of Arduino Pro Mini is good, but adding Pressure sensor board to it makes it difficult to fit. So... Lets see what we can remove from Arduino Pr...

Re: custom PCB
hageha, very beauriful and clean design! 8-) Yesterday I did small test - miniOXS for 1 hour. :D It works fine from 1S LiPo. :!: MiniOXS.jpg I removed unneeded parts of the PCB from Arduino Pro Mini board (serial connections, reset button and LDO). And I reused an LDO from pressure sensor. 1S batter...

Re: custom PCB
Yeah, dedicated LDO reg for pressure sensor is enough, no need of additional cap. 8-) But in general I think it would be nice to make the device working from 1S LiPo. For this you can use 3.0V LDO (with less than 200mV dropout, for example MIC5501) or without LDO, and use 8Mhz resonator. But then vo...

Re: custom PCB
Very nice size! It is would be nice to have it ordered from OSHPark, for example. 8-) For my small DLG I wanted to make similar PCB, but to have ms5611 as a separate breakout board. I'm afraid, that to solder pressure sensor by hands is quite difficult, isn't it? :? Thank you! Beautiful work! Pavel ...

Re: RX voltage alarm in 2.1
Sometimes I'm using only battery without BEC, for example in small DLG. But then I treat it as Battery voltage, not as Rx voltage.
So, for me, removing Rx battery alarm makes sense.

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Just a small update on an issues with cheap Chinese SD card readers. I had to add a capacitor (47uf) and choke coil (22uh) to the 5v line. It, first of all, helped me with some SD cards that did not worked. Now any card I use with this reader is working excellent. Also with some boards I get a noise...

The reason I started with this project was to provide a voice module that is easier to build for those who can't do fine soldering. Therefore I have chosen only through hole components and stripboard. But it is nice to see that also the people that can do fine soldering are using the idea ;) :D Yes...

This means that my schematic is missing diodes for RX/TX lines (I have a space for one diode, but not using at the momen...

Amazing work guys!

Yes, at the beginning I will try with opentx, but it is good to have oprion for Er9x
I think transistors there for level shifting. But I'm not sure, should I have transistors on PB7 line if arduino runs from 5 volts and sd card is 5v compatible?

Re: ArduVoice-9x Voice Module with Arduino for the 9x Radio
Hi João!
I'm comparing your schematic to others, and I see that some designs have pulled up D1 (MTD) line to +5v with 10k resistor.
Your schematic do not have it. What the purpose of this resistor? should I add it?
Thank you
