Re: Sv: Lemon Stabiliser Rx

I stumbled on LemonRX receivers several years ago when they were first marketed. At first I used them in simpler models. Over time my confidence in them has grown since I have never ever experienced a single glitch. Not even when using their micro 6-channel DSM2 receiver in a glider. Not only do the...

Re: TGY RX no arms

The board should arm when you hold the left stick down and to the right for a few seconds. That is: minimum throttle and maximum yaw. The first thing to check is that you have assigned the right stick movement to the right channel. Failing to do so will make it impossible to arm. Sent from my SM-N90...

The new arduino nano boards can actually be had for considerably less:

That price is only marginally higher than the price for the Arduino Pro Mini, which has the same processor but without the USB interface contact and circuits. Amazing.

Take a screen shot of Companion while you generate you generate fw. That way it will be possible to see what you do.

Make sure to capture the whole Companion window, not just the generation dialog. The transmitter type is only visible in the title bar of Companion.

You might want to reconsider that idea. As you know OpenTX 2 included eeprom upgrade code both in the TX and in Companion. Almost everything was converted, but some features simply could not carry over. One example is that some voice alerts no longer worked after the conversion. These relatively min...

The disappearing RX number is not an anomality. The old D8 protocol does not handle RX numbering (the feature Spektrum calls model match) so there is no number to display.

Try downloading to another destination than the default download folder. I don't use Firefox, but my guess is that you can right click the download link to bring up a menu that allows you to save to another location. Try saving to your desktop. You will absolutely have write privileges there. Someth...

If you want to use a radio channel for arming the throttle you also must enable the motor_stop feature in your naze32. It is also very useful to assign one of the three position switches of the radio to a sixth channel and use that to select between three flight modes for the naze32. For example ang...

As you have discovered Companion 2.0 can read models and settings from a number of sources, including FrSky original firmware. But Companion 2 can only write the data back in OpenTX 2.0 format. This is the reason your transmitter thought the data was corrupted. FrSky's version of OpenTX does not und...

That is correct. OTX Companion no longer supports export of eeproms in any other format than the one used in OpenTX 2.0. The data formats are now so different that maintaining compatibility with all Companion functions was an overwhelming task. It is still possible to import older OpenTX and er9x ee...

You have to restart Companion after selecting theme or theme size. But the really interesting thing is naturally that the flash...

Expo will never give you a completely true deadband. The output might be small when you move the stick, but it will still be there. A perfect solution for you would be to define a custom curve and use that instead. You will be able to define a true deadband of exactly the width you want and how stee...

I find it hard to keep track of which mode to use for each model and I most certainly do not want to keep rebinding them. I use the mode = number of led blinks on the module, as part of the model name. MiniDLG0 and asw2 for example. Crude, but it works for me. It would have been nice to be able to d...
