Re: Battery calibration and deleting models
Hey everyone. I just switched on the transmitter last night to familiarize myself with the layout of open9x and the range of controls I have access to... and tadaa! Deleting models is now not a problem... I have zero idea why as I have not done anything new. New problem that I noticed however is tha...

Re: Battery calibration and deleting models
Thanks again for the help and suggestions everyone! Unfortunately I still cannot delete models...but thanks to rperkins, Kilrah and ReST I have been able to calibrate the battery correctly! This has also taught me I need that I should invest in a finer tipped soldering iron. Finished: http://img690....

Re: Battery calibration and deleting models
Back again with some values that rperkins suggested I take. first: Be sure the right side of the cap (#1) is not shorted to ground. ( probably isnt ) Be sure the right side of the 5.1k resistor is not shorted to ground be sure that the left side of the 5.1k resistor is connected to the right side of...

Re: Battery calibration and deleting models
Haha I had to replace a large diode on something else and it looked very similar to that cap so I just assumed, thanks for the tips. All the red spots are just melted insulation from me getting the wires off, and the black would be liquid electrical tape I used to try and soften up the hot glue or h...

Re: Battery calibration and deleting models
you got the diode back in there the right way. A diode is a one way street and has to be installed accordingly. Maybe a photo of your board showing the diode and the rework will help us out. Possibly the 2 problems are related and solving the battery calibration issue will resolve your menu button ...

Re: Battery calibration and deleting models
Helle, Nein, meine muttersprache ist Englisch. However, I did review the manual thanks :P The issue is that I can change the "Battery Calib" value, but that value simply won't go higher than 4.6v... just tried it again and now it won't go above 2.3v?? Strange! My battery is giving me 11.6v...

Re: Battery calibration and deleting models
I have not tried using companion9x instead of eePe so I will give that a go in the meantime.

Battery calibration and deleting models
Hello! My first attempt at wiring up the ATMEGA64A to flash it with open9x went terribly... and after peeling off the hot glue I unseated a diode and a resistor. I soldered them back onto the board and wired it for flashing a second time and as far as I can tell it's working fine except for two thin...

Re: Looking for firmware suggestions!
Thanks Kilrah, exactly what I was looking for! I am positive that the 3DR communicates over 5V tolerant TTL, so I should just be able to wire everything up straight? I think I will go the open9x route first because it seems to have more steam behind it at the moment in terms of users and community d...

Re: ArduPilot display
Using gv9x how would you go about wiring your telemetry radio into the 9X. As in which two wires connect from the telemetry radio to the board, I've got power covered and everything is on a common ground. Am I going about this the right way?

Looking for firmware suggestions!
Hello all, Here is my situation... I wanted a fairly fully featured mobile ground station without bulk and weight, and it just so happens that there's a really neat app in development right now called Andropilot. It's a slimmed down version of the mission planner and you can host a 3D radio from an ...
