Re: What Rx should I get?

Hi VarietyPack , I suggest you look at the FrSky receivers like the X8R, X6R, X4R and there are other see here: (https://www.frsky-rc.com/product-category/receivers/). I like and is a must for me to use receivers that do telemetry info back to my radio. (https://alofthobbies.com/radio/frsky-telemetr...

Re: Replacing Atmega64 with 128

Go to (http://www.er9x.com/) and then select: er9x for Mega2561 processor (right click and select 'save as') This file has been updated since 2014, but this is the one you would use for the M2561 chip. I think see here using eepe to flash with: (http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=381...

Thanks João, I missed that when I saw the Pro in the firmware version er9xProv822f.
I should have noitic the er9x in front of it.
Many people leave off the Pro when referring to the 9XR-Pro radios.

Re: Replacing Atmega64 with 128

about fuses, no Not a problem, as you can see Mike and João helped me through flashing the new m2561 Chip.
They would be happy to help you also and you will love the m2561 Chip.
Mike has, using eepe to flash m2561 Chip, which helps a lot too.

Re: Taranis X9D aileron trim strange behavior

You may want to order a replacement Trim Switch Board, so if the problem returns, you may want to try a new Trim Switch Board. Also follow Mike's request first (if/when problem returns), as he is best to help you with solving this problem. Have you checked in the switch diag menu to see the trim swi...

Re: Taranis X9D aileron trim strange behavior

Trim switch still maybe faulty. (https://alofthobbies.com/frsky-taranis- ... witch.html)
Try swapping the two horizontals trim switch boards to see if
the problem follows the same horizontal trim switch board.

Re: Taranis X9D aileron trim strange behavior

I suggest the problem is a hardware problem, that maybe with a sticky switch trim button,
which may fix itself by moving the trim switch back and forth several times.
But this is only a guess, as not having your radio in hand.
Let us know what you find.

Re: Replacing Atmega64 with 128

Here is info about replacing the Chip if you are still interested:
(http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic ... 120#p74046).
It is best to upgrade to the m2561 as you will have more capabilities, the 128 will give you less capabilities. :)

eePe and eePskye simplified programming

I think, where to be looking, to make more simplified programming, is not so much with er9x and erSky9x radio firmware, but to make simplified programming in eePe and eePskye. There could also be eePe and eePskye apps for computer phones and tablets, with WiFi connection back to the radio too. EePe ...

Also better to use the X series receivers which you will then have Telemetry data.
The V-series receivers do not send telemetry information back to the transmitter.
