Re: New Taranis X9D Plus SPECIAL EDITION with M9 Hall sensor from Horusrc

OK, I see it now.
I though it was just a different case, so for me not any real value for the higher cost.
Still do not see it at the FrSky web page (http://frsky-rc.com/product/product.php ... ame=Radios).

Re: New Taranis X9D Plus SPECIAL EDITION with M9 Hall sensor from Horusrc

Hi Kilrah, FrSky in the past has upgraded hardware and sometime may give Taranis a new name. I do not see this "Special Edition" at Aloft Hobbies. This could be something that Horusrc in Germany is doing on there own as a marketing thing. :?: I do not see "Taranis Plus Special Edition" listed at (ht...

Re: New Taranis X9D Plus SPECIAL EDITION with M9 Hall sensor from Horusrc

Hi Kilrah, You are correct, is my first time seeing a "Taranis Plus Special Edition". Just making a suggestion to where maybe a good place to purchase the Taranis and add the M9 Gimbals. What other things does the Taranis Plus Special Edition have ? :?: The display screen still at the bottom, would ...

Why?
He precisely pointed to the Special Edition that has the M9s already in.
I do not know where he lives (I missed seeing he lives in Germany) and the cost is the same (or even less) when ordering from Aloft Hobbies.

Re: Tips and Tricks for sail plane setup

L Switches are not physical switches on the outside of your 9xr-pro. They are virtual switches used in your erSky9x firmware. Logical Switches, were previously called Custom Switches. They produce an ON or OFF output based on a logical operation to compare values and/or assess logical conditions (e....

Re: New Taranis X9D Plus SPECIAL EDITION with M9 Hall sensor from Horusrc

Hi Carlos, I am not sure if the M9 Gimbals come installed in the new Taranis-Plus. You could check with Aloft Hobbies before ordering. If they do not, you can order them (M9) from Aloft and if you talk with them they may install them for you, but it is easy for you to do the installation yourself al...

Re: New Taranis X9D Plus SPECIAL EDITION with M9 Hall sensor from Horusrc

Hi Carlos, I suggest, being you are new to the hobby, to consider the Taranis-Plus to start with. As it is, it will do more then you will need for some time (http://alofthobbies.com/frsky-taranis-plus-transmitter-with-travel-case.html) (cost about $200). You can upgrade the Taranis-Plus to the M9 Gi...

I have a 9XR Gimbal and the M9 Gimbal. Eyeballing the 9XR and M9 Gimbals with Digital Caliper, the dimensions are different between them. Note: Eyeballing measurements may not be accurate. M7: 62.0mm X 62.0mm / 48.4mm / 42.9mm X 54.0mm M9: 62.1mm X 62.1mm / 48.1mm / 54.5mm X 54.5mm 9XR: 56.7mm X 54....

Re: ERSky9x, setting up V911

It has no pitch control on the blades, you program it like a quad or airplane.
For $17 delivered, it has some fun to it and using er9x or erSky9x with your 9x radio help to fly it better,
over the transmitter that you can purchase to fly with it.

The V911, I got several and they are a toy, that you mostly fly inside (you can fly them outside. but if you go high and far you can easily lose them). I wonder if the M7 Gimbals would be a better fit for the 9XR-Pro radios ? :?:

Could be the only difference from the M9 Gimbals may be the wiring for the Qx7.

I do not have one of the excellent rotary encoder to see where it may be installed. Like the 9x, the the Taranis buttons are mounted on the front side (pcb), there maybe room to mount it in the same place as the 9x. Those, there is not much room on the front. I wonder if the excellent rotary encoder could be installed on the side or back
and use one of the (front stupid ) buttons to activate it On and Off,
so not to accidentally press it (change settings) when flying.

Hi João,
You could be the first to mod the TARANIS-X9D-PLUS with a rotary encoder / upgrade the chip and maybe add bluetooth too. ;)
I am hoping ! :D ...... (can not do the radio-mods without the radio).

Hi dahai8, Yes, I have never see an adjustment for what you want to do, on any Gimbals. Here are some possible causes and fixes: 1. The Gimbal Stick Shaft maybe bend 5º. a) Replace Gimbal b) Bend Gimbal Stick Shaft back to 0º. 2. Piece of debris (dirt) between front case and the Gimbal causing 5º ti...

If the gimbal's fit to the front case is improper then correct the fit by wedging it over or remove some material.
5º over a short distance is very small, maybe it is not a problem that needs to be fixed ?
