Strangely the edf's and ESC's are identical yet one motor starts spinning a half second before the other. It has a steerable nose wheel so ground control should be easier.

2 EDF's, 2 ESC's one battery on two throttle channels!

I have a Guanli A10 foamy that is running with 2 55mm edf's. They are brushless out runners controlled by 2 separate ESCs that connect to a single Lipo. The stock setup has the throttle wires connected to a y-harness and then to the RX. I was thinking that if I slaved an auxiliary channel to the thr...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ

s_mack, Just to be clear, I'm not saying that my TEZ is not working. I'm just trying to avoid any roadblocks while I try to get my telemetry working. So far, I can't even get the RX voltage on the screen, but I haven't really dug into it yet. I've been busy building and flying for the last year and ...

Re: Introducing: TelemetrEZ

So, I'm a bit confused! I'm using ER9X-frysky,SP2.3,TEZ,DHT DIY in my Turnigy radio. Installed a little more than one year ago and haven't used any of the telemetry options until now. A few weeks ago, I updated the firmware for the TEZ and the er9x-frksy. Do I need to update the 9x FW again with thi...

Re: Is it possible to program Both Flaperona and Elevon mixe

Rob,
Could you post the template that sushifly was looking for? I'm using ER9X firmware and that mix is exactly what I'm after!

Got it, never mind Rob.

Re: F 35 mixing

 DUH! Never mind, I figured it out. Here this whole time I was making it much more difficult than it really was. Works like a charm, here is my mix template. This mix has two aileron servos, two elevator servos and two rudder servos all on separate channels. The ailerons are linked to the ID0/...

F 35 mixing

ER9X- FrSky - EEPE: I built an F 35 from RcPowers and have two aileron servos, two elevator servos and two rudder servos plugged into a V8R7SP receiver. I'm would like to have elevon/delta mix but also have the ailerons able to be used as flaps. Also, is there a way to mix the two rudders servos so ...

Re: Throttle and aileron switch not working

The "stable" r708 is awfully old, it doesn't have TelemetrEZ support yet. You should just flash the current version (r781), frsky variant of course. That "stable" revision thing should go IMO, or at least a more current revision be designated as stable... Thanks Kilrah, I was a ...

Re: Throttle and aileron switch not working

I'm having the same issue with the THR and AIL error on my Turnigy 9X. I've installed the FrSky DIY with telemetry, Smartie Parts board the Telemetry EZ board, new speaker and haptic feedback. I flashed with the latest stable ER9x-FrSky r708. Everything calibrated properly and the haptic/sound work ...

Re: Newb needs direction

yes, USBasp is similar to SP function for you to flash the FW without SP. As for telemetry mod, read the link. it is not a 'easily connect'. take some delicate soldering to the CPU. But if you jest want to read telemetry data without porgramming , you can get a Frysky screen display mount on the Tx...

Re: Newb needs direction

I wonder what you are going to do with the telemetry. YOu need to do the telemetry mod to get telemetry data to the Tx. but you have the SP board. the USBasp mod for T9x is easier to do than the telemetry mod. I assume you are using the stock board. the SKY9x board does not need any mod. check here...

Gentlemen, as I've read in many places, I have everything I need : Turnigy 9x radio - FrSky DHT 8ch DIY Telemetry Compatible Transmitter Module - Smartie Parts board - LCD backlight - upgraded LiPo transmitter battery...am I missing anything? Other than the nerve to open up this brand new radio! Wha...

Re: Newb needs direction

Yeah, I missed it too! Sooo, what Rob Thomson is saying is that my 9x with FrSky module will bind with a Spectrum rx? I don't need the telemtry...yet! I know what you mean Kaos, I need only 6ch really, but if this new 9X can mix any channel then I may only need 4?

Re: Newb needs direction

Thanks dvogonen and gohsthb, I already ordered the smartie board and the backlight. Also, just so I'm clear....if someday I want to switch tooo spectrum, I just need to by the module and reflash my 9x to the appropriate firmware? No radio change needed, just rx's?

Newb needs direction

Man, this is AWESOME! First, thanks to the creators of the 9X movement and this forum. I just recieved my shipping confirmation from HK, my Turnigy 9X is enroute :D . To be straight forward, I'm making the switch to 9X because I'm sick of the expensive RX's. I fly mostly foamies and parkjets that I ...
