Re: Continued-Infrared module for JR compatible TX, including 9x

I think the 30 second duration is when the arduino timer overflows and resets. Cant remember which timer as the sketch uses 2 of them. at least my foggy memory remembers something along that line. It does sound like your throttle is off as your led is not blinking during the 30 seconds.. yea home au...

Re: Continued-Infrared module for JR compatible TX, including 9x

There is an issue though. When throttle is at 0 and the radio is left switched on, the IR module still sends something out every 30 seconds. When this happens, the helicopter starts its motor briefly. I had that problem at one time and adjusted the code to try to compensate. I'd be curious if the s...

Re: Continued-Infrared module for JR compatible TX, including 9x

Glad you are narrowing it down. ER9x is the firmware that I used with a 9X and the IR module.
originally I only outputted 4 channels, as that is all I need. Maybe you could experiment with only outputting 4 channels and setting radio up as such.
the code for the module would need to be edited .

Re: Continued-Infrared module for JR compatible TX, including 9x

its been a long time but glancing at the code it looks like you are using the correct in and out pins. remember if you try version 8 or earlier the output pin is different and you will need to download the library mentioned in the readme. the only advice I can give is to hookup the LED_OUTPUT_PIN . ...

This line is what is important in your post.

avrdude: Device signature = 0x1e950f

if you do a search on that signature i think you are reading your arduino.

Re: Getting rid of the Hobby King usbasp SCK error

Its been a while but i would try jp3. If that doesnt work copy and paste the exact error code because most usbasp used a m8 mcu but a few used something different (m88?). The firmware you load has to match the mcu on your usbasp

Re: Updating Usbasp firmware using Eepe in Windows

no you dont use that hk cable. that is for burning ESC. Use the cable that came with it. IT probably isnt J2 you need to short. You probably need to add a solder bridge to the unpopulated spot next to J2. You will also need a second usbasp to program the first one. You could always look at the schem...

Re: Linux Taranis x9d plus dont work

Whenever I see these types of error upon inserting a usb device, it is always hardware related. 1. usb device failed. 2. cable bad. 3. usb port defective. the computer has not completely enumerated the device. It is not an issue of the software you are going to use to communicate with the device. er...

yes. but you will have to remove the solder before the device will work as a usbasp. When the jumper is bridged the MCU is not running its normal program

Re: Updating Usbasp firmware using Eepe in Windows

yes. I have updated those exact usbasp with different firmware. I had a pair of pointed tweezers I would stick into those thru holes to put the unit into programming mode but a jumper of solder or wire would work also.

Hello. The 9xrprogrammer.com website has been retired. You can still retrieve driver and other information from the sister site http://usbasp.us . I think that will be up for another month or so. If anyone has any issues I can be reached here or at randyperkins@randyperkins.com . I have a few spare ...

I just updated through homebrew to the latest HEAD version and it worked perfectly. --snip-- 2.) I still get the error message that THR, ID2 and AIL are on, no matter what their state is. Re: Programming 9x with USBASP fails, works with Arduino

[ I checked it, MOSI, SCK, RST and MISO have the 100 Ohm resistor in from. Just for your reference and for the next guy reading this thread. a RP1 with a value of 101 (100 ohms) is fine. It is only when RP1 has a higher value like 221(220 ohms ) or 471 ( 470 ohms ) that problems programming the 9x/...

mine shows the same thing, but the notifications says 'notifications(0)' There is an option of the bottom that says 'select all'. Then at the top it says 'mark read' . I think mine are all already 'read' so the option to mark them is greyed out. I imagine if the main page says notifications(1) , the...

avrdude 6.2 has been released. I dont believe there is a FW version for opentx that supports what you want. It may help if you fully explain what modification h...
