Then the update will work and stop the annoying warnings, but as Kilrah says they are only telemetry warnings you won't lose control, you can turn off the warnings in the menus.

Re: Hand launch a glider and telemetry lost
Not sure which Rx you have but there is new firmware for a range of Frsky Rx's which will stop the telemetry loss when the Tx is too close to the Rx amongst a lot of other improvements..

Re: Looking to buy a 3D printer
I bought a Creality CR-10S from '3d-printer-online' on Ebay for £220, it was listed as used but came in an original box and looked brand new. 3D printing is a steep learning curve. I've learnt a lot since owing one. I've use Octoprint to link the printer to my PC and updated the firmware to Klipper....

Nice installation... Never thought to remove the reset button, that always gets in the way when trying to put boards on top of one another.

Re: Horus X10S left and right sliders reversed
Well after a bit of though I sorted out the volume control, in mixes I picked a spare channel I used LS as the source with a weight of -100, then in special functions, switch is 'ON' Action 'Volume' and parameters is the spare channel you used in Mixes. Works a treat. Throttle was just a case of cha...

Horus X10S left and right sliders reversed
Hi Recently bought a Horus X10S having owned a Tarnais from the very beginning, on the Taranis I used the left slider as a volume control and the right as a throttle for my electric assisted gliders (I'm in mode 1) I have the throttle stick to work the crow/brakes as most of my models are pure glide...

Hi Chris
Are you thinking of making the PCB commercially ? I would be very interested in a board

GPS + Vario problem
Hi I've recently built a Openx gps sensor following this thread here http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=10472 No one was more surprised than me when it actually worked. All picked up Ok in adding new sensors on my Taranis. I have now tried to add a vario using a GY-63 board, I co...

Re: GPS taking 10mins to fix location
Just been messing about again with the GPS, I have it daisy chained with a vario to an X8R receiver with the vario first in line, I have now swapped them over with the GPS first in line. Resting the nose of the model by the window sill inside the house the GPS locked on within a minute or so... and ...

Re: GPS taking 10mins to fix location
Just done a test outside in the garden.. With GPS module outside the plane with the 'UP' label downwards I gave up after 25 minutes without getting a lock. Switched off.. Tried with 'UP' label upwards and it took just on 5 mins to lock, when switched off and tried again without moving the GPS module...

GPS taking 10mins to fix location
I've recently received a frsky GPS module, whilst it works well being able to output the log file straight to Google earth via a KMZ file i'm finding it can take over 10 mins to fix its location.. The GPS PDF file says it should fix in 30secs.. Is it normal for such a long time or do i have a dodgy ...

Problem with Air Brakes
Hi I'm having problem with air-brakes on my Salto. I've based my template on a file from the forum and adapted it for my use. It's for a six servo wing with ailerons, flaps and air-brakes with a Vee tail.. I used the program before for a F3F model with a few changes but since I've added air brakes i...

Re: Taranis Vario problem
Mine locks up on probably every flight, as Rob said cycling the vario appears to work most times, just a bit annoying... Mine seems to lock up around 50mtrs, not sure speed has any bearing at it tends to lock up straight from launch as I'm climbing in slope lift. There's mention of the firmware bug ...
