It is. You would normally get RSSI and A2 on telemetry from an X8R receiver but to get other values you would either need a FC or separate SmartPort sensors for whatever parameter you want.
E.g. look here for some examples: https://www.t9hobbysport.com/rc-gear/fr ... rt-sensors

Re: Low eeprom memory
Thank you for answering. I don't have that many models (about 25, is that many...?) but several of them are full house gliders with fairly complex mixes etc.

Low eeprom memory
My QX7 was warning me for low eeprom memory. Removing some models cleared some memory and the warning disappeared, but now some of my models are not available on the radio anymore, obviously. Are there other ways of clearing eeprom memory, such as moving models to memory card? Skickat från min SM-T5...

Converting 9ch DSMX plane to FrSky
I have recently moved from Spektrum to FrSky/OpenTx. One of my planes to convert have 9 servos, which posed no problems before since there are several DSMX rx with 9ch or more. However, there is only one FrSky rx with more than 8 ch (L9R), as far as i know. I have an X8R rx and wonder if I can use p...

Re: Input and Mixes tabs blank/empty in Companion 2.2.1 (for Ubuntu/Debian)
Thank you for replying. It works just fine on my other computer running Linux Mint Debian Edition, so I will post an issue as suggested.

Re: Input and Mixes tabs blank/empty in Companion 2.2.1 (for Ubuntu/Debian)
The attached otx-file works fine in Companion 2.2.1 for Windows but not in Debian/Kubuntu. Neither in version 2.2.1 or latest nightly builds. At least not for me.

Re: Input and Mixes tabs blank/empty in Companion 2.2.1 (for Ubuntu/Debian)
Can anyone say if this is posted in the right place or, if not, where it should be posted? Should I make a bug report? I can understand that the Debian version of Companion is of low priority, but does anyone now if is being dropped or will continue to be maintained? If help is needed I can perhaps ...

Input and Mixes tabs blank/empty in Companion 2.2.1 (for Ubuntu/Debian)
After installing the latest Companion 2.2.1 Debian package , in Kubuntu 17.10, and opening an existing .otx model file I find that both the Input and Mixes tabs are blank. Nothing shows. The same .otx-file work fine in Companion 2.2.0 Debian version, and in Companion 2.2.1 for Windows. The same blan...

Re: Setting repeated warning for rx not on
Kilrah's solution works like a charm! I have set a logical switch and a special function in my QX7 that beeps and buzzes like mad, should I ever make the same stupid mistake again... However when I downloaded my radio settings to Companion 2.2.0 (for Linux) my logical switch no longer had the !Tele ...

Check if RSSI is/goes to zero in openTx when the x is off. If so, then use that to create a warning. Mike. Thank you, I will try that. Skickat från min SM-T585 via Tapatalk RSSI or other telemetry variables doesn't seem to be set/initialized at all before the rx is switched on so I can't use e.g. R...

Re: RE: Re: Setting repeated warning for rx not on
It is pretty much basic procedure to make sure all controls are working in the right direction before flying a model. Same as with real aircraft. For that, you just need to move the sticks before launching the model. If the controls don't move, perhaps the switch is OFF. By the way, i build my own ...

Setting repeated warning for rx not on
I just crashed my second hand DLG since I forgot to turn the rx on with the magnetic switch (Zepsus magnetic BEC, http://www.rcteknik.se/Katalog?ccp=5557&pcp=11563) I have installed, which is off by default when power/battery is connected. I just did what I do with all my other planes - swapped ...

Re: Q-X7 Missing or Invisible Sound Files
I have had the same experience and solution. I wonder why the Q X7 have this restriction in file naming? Does anyone know?
