Re: "resolved -impossible to identify radio on your system..
Tx is Taranis with latest firmware, Companion9x 1.52 Rev 2381. Running Windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I was able to connect a couple of weeks ago. I have since uninstalled Companion 9x and reinstalled it with no luck.

I have run into the same problem. 2 weeks ago I could connect and read the Tx. Today I get the same error as above...There must be a solution somewhere....What causes it? Driver? Conpanion9x?

Re: Smart Port Voltage Sensor
Explain please or give me a place to read about this... Did you read the manual? http://www.open-tx.org/2013/08/22/opentx-frsky-manual-en/ Once you're done with telemetry and audio, read the "A few interaction examples" chapter. Yes, I have read the above materials thank you for the help....

Re: Smart Port Voltage Sensor
You get low battery warnings out of the box. For everything else use the voice readout custom function to play a value. The easiest trigger is a button like the trainer switch. Or a logic expression like value falling below a certain threshold or timer. (Previous tab.) Written on my mobile. Please ...

Re: Smart Port Voltage Sensor
What do you mean by 'use'? You should see the values in the telemetry screen on the main screen. (Long press some key. I forgot which) Perhaps you need to select the voltage source first in the telemetry screen of the model setup. And you should select the right threshold voltages for your battery....

I am trying to get my Nano QX working with my new Taranis. I have the DMS2 module in the taranis and have gotten it bound. Some of the controls seem to work but on the wrong stick, also when the motor does start the only way to stop it is to turn off the taranis...Help Please.....

Re: Houston we have a problem.
Could we have a few more details please. You have the stock board with a Smartieparts board (which version?) What firmware did you have stock, er9x, open9x? Just because the screen is blank, doesn't mean the processor is not powered, so you should still be able to get AVDUDE to talk to the board. O...

Must be one of those "I be wrong days" I just reconnected the tx to computer and launched Companion. I does read the tx. I do see bad characters in the file..but still no display on tx. I will rewrite a new file to it and see how it goes.

Re: Houston we have a problem.
Uhm... I have never before heard of that being done to factory reset? Is that a stock firmware feature? Anyway... It sounds to me like your model epprom has in some way become corrupted. Does avr dude still confirm that it can write / read from the radio? If it can, I would create a blank epprom in...

Houston we have a problem.
Not sure what happened but I was using companion software and had read the TX memory, made some changes and wrote it back. Write was successful. I noticed that the power was now off on the Turnigy. Tried to turn it on. (No go.). Figured battery was dead so charged it..Still nothing. Tried to do a fa...

From what I am reading Option 3 will require me to remove the antenna (Unsolder the lead) and move to the module. This however is not a problem. I think I can handle that.
Thank you.

Re: Dumb Questions
The Champ uses DSM2 protocol, so the Turnigy 9x with the regular Turnigy/FlySky module is not compatible. Option 1: Install a DSM module (such as the new Orange one from HobbyKing) in the rear slot. The trouble is that conflicts with the module I assume is already in there. It's not easily removabl...

I should be receiving my WL Toys V939 any day now. Has anyone got an EEpe file for the er9x? Also in loading the file into my Rx will it overwrite the existing file for my V911? I am using eepe.exe.

To post your file, in eepe, on the icons, select the one that looks a computer chip with a green arrow. to do this your radio must be connected to the computer. Just take the file that is now open on eepe and save it, and then post it here.

Re: Throttle not idle
Was the T9X working with your V911 before you flash with er9x? I am not even sure the WL Toy v911 rx(receiver) is compatible with T9X. but you do get response from the er9x even though it is not the right stick movement. the rx is where you plug in your servo wires and ESC throttle plug into. I hav...
