Re: how to retract speedbrakes on high throttle

Thanks for the info, had something figured out also with logical switches, just followed a few lessons in the OpenTX university and did some logical thinking myself ;-)

how to retract speedbrakes on high throttle

hi guys, I am setting up my new Kangaroo jet trainer and was wondering how I can program speed brake retraction on throttle settings above say 60-75% throttle stick position. It is mentioned in the opentx university, but not shown ... I have the speedbrake on switch E and would like to auto stow the...

Telemetry converter (Jeti/HOTT/Futaba)

Hi people, I just bought a Jets Munt VT-80BL turbine, it has a telemetry unit that is comatible with the Jeti telemetry protocol (also HOTT and Futaba, but with less functionality) and I was wondering if there is a possibility to convert the data to FrSky protocol, so that I have live engine data av...

Firmware 2.1 update on Taranis

Just updated the deskop software to version 2.1 and flashed my Taranis to version 2.1.0 as well. In the release notes it states that the firmware upgrade option for receivers etc is also available in this version. I had a temporary firmware that entered the normal programming mode by holding the lef...

Re: Model Artwork for Taranis

Is there somebody out there who has a nice BMP for the Taranis for my new BAE Hawk (Red Arrows aircraft) EDF? Would be nice to have a picture with this aircraft in my transmitter.
Thanks

Re: Model Artwork for Taranis

Have a new quadcopter: Tarot Iron Man 650 with the double landing skids, there's also one with a single carbon pipe at eachside, but that's a different version. Would be nice to have that one as a bmp

Extra sounds for Taranis

Hi people, I was watching the video's by Scott Page (maybe you are reading this post Scott ...), there are lots of sounds he's using for flaps and model names. Is there a file downloadable somewhere? (I am very lazy and don't like to make them myself ... At least I am honest  ) I have the lates...

Taranis region TX power

Hi people,

In the general setup of the Taranis there is an option for US and European region settings, I understood that there is a difference in output power and frequencies. Is there a link or topic on what the power output is in the 2 different settings?
Thanks,

Great that some people have the knowledge, time and guts to check all this stuff out! Isn't there a schematic out there, just like of the 9x for FCC certification or so?
Thank you for all the research!

Rob, indeed this is the only way to go ... I failed to do that and cracked them, so I decided to change all 6 case screws. I you are careful or never open the Taranis up, just use the stock screws.

Re: Simple Mods for Taranis

After opening up my Taranis 2 times, first time to have a look and second time for a switch mod, the 2 top posts where the case screws go into cracked already, so I used the 9X upgraded screw pack sold by Smartieparts. The posts are nice and wide, so no problems drilling. There will be more mods in ...

Looked at the changes, makes the Taranis a 1500 dollar TX in a 172 dollar package! (It is a 1000 dollar TX now ;-) )
Also made a donation, if everybody would do that twice a year, we wouldn't have any issues, but who am I ... ?

Hi there, While preparing for the arrival of the TelemetrEZ board I was struggleling with the V shaped contact soldered to the small circuitboard where the main ON/OFF switch and the original buzzer are on as well. After closing the T9x it makes contact with the 2 pads on the rear circuit board, all...
