Timer Count Down Value Change Requires Reboot

I’ve noticed that when the timer count down value is changed say from 6:00 to 3:00 it does not take effect till either a flight reset is done or a power cycle. Is this the correct behaviour or a bug? I fly with two battery sizes. When I changed to the smaller battery I reduced the timer but the coun...

Is there a limit to the number of sensors that can be used at the same time? Sport sensors.

Re: OpenTX 2.2.x Manual

A line or two about this in the manual could prevent people from toasting their radios.. If I add a hardware section then I will. The manual at RCdiy.ca does not have a hardware section (see table of contents on the home page). There are guides linked to down the side of the web page; Thats were I ...

Re: OpenTX 2.2.x Manual

There is a lot of stuff..... Exactly. My goal was an OpenTX manual not a radio manual. As you correctly pointed out there is a lot of stuff people may want to do to their radios so if its not OpenTX I'll probably not include it. There are other more general Transmitter manuals/resources which could...

Re: OpenTX 2.2.x Manual

Thanks Mike. In order to reduce the verbosity of the manual I'm sticking as much as possible to OpenTX related content. You suggestion while useful would fall under a Tx modification in my arbitrary opinion :)

Re: Maintenance mode

I like the idea:) Just thinking for the point of view of documenting this. As a user/documenter with regards to OpenTX" Where would I go to get the boot loader with app option? Is the boot-loader installed by navigating to the download using the SD CARD screen and then long pressing enter? What is t...

Re: OpenTX 2.2 Documentation for the Taranis and Horus Transmitters

I think I’ll add a note in my documentation explaining not to rely on it and to do our own backups. I may create a GitHub issue. It would be nice to have clarity on expectations of that option.

Re: OpenTX 2.2 Documentation for the Taranis and Horus Transmitters

Please look at Section 3, page 15 Lua - Enables the use of lua scripts . Lua scripts are always enabled. This option enables the custom scripts screen which in turn enables us to configure mix scripts. Section 3, page 16 Backup folder - The location of where firmware backup files will be stored on t...

Re: Help blocked opentx 2.2 on Taranis Q7

When you wrote the firmware did you have check compatibility selected?
Can you boot into boot loader mode? Off horizontal trims pulled to centre, on.

Re: Nightly Builds 2.2.1 - how to disable startup warning on Taranis X9D+

If you have memory problems use luac build option.
Run Lua Script in Companion simulator.
Take luac file created and run it on the transmitter.

Re: How precise is OpenTX?

Anyone know the actual precision sent to the RX? The XJT module handles the Tx Rx communications. Not OpenTX. While not directly answering your question this article is interesting and highlights the differences/non standard way the pulce widths are translated into physical movement. https://www.po...

/ RESX range is used for internal calculation; The menu says -100.0 to 100.0; internally it is -1024 to 1024 to allow some optimizations

On a MAC use Grab
On Windows use the Snipping Tool
Both apps supplied with operating system.
The snipping tool in Windows will not work with drop down menus, they disappear as soon as you select the snipping tool.
I use the delay feature.
