This is new to me:)
How does RPM relate to the speed without knowing the characteristics of the model?

Re: Slider adjustable timer
It is easy.
On companion select firmware version with lua. Flash Tx.
Visit my website and contact me through there so that I can track my script requests.
What you want however may be possible without a script but I'm traveling at the moment so don't have access to companion to try.

Re: Failsafe settings and a dash of confusion!
Hopefully someone else can answer which is more reliable. Remembering to do it is another thing. OpenTX will warn us to set failsafe on FrSky modes that support it. If we set it to Receiver we need to remeber that every time a receiver is bound the failsafe needs to set and tested again. I've rarely...

Re: Failsafe settings and a dash of confusion!
From the Taranis Manual Step 5: Set Failsafe mode There are 4 failsafe modes: No Pulse, Hold, Custom and receiver (this mode only used above opentx-v2.0.0 firmware). ● No Pulse: on loss of signal the receiver produces no pulses on any channel. To use this type, select it in the menu and wait 9 secon...

Re: OPEN TX LUA SCRIPT
the second v replaces the first in which case your nill check won't work...
just for kicks try
local function getValueOrDefault(value)
return = getValue(value)
end
Your code as is works for me.... something else may be going on... I tested using the companion 1.9 simulator.
