Re: [Q7s] Popup of a joystick menu at startup 2.2.1
Hi all, I am back after few investigation on the radio. I had a big fright these days because the transmitter did not want to power ON anymore. I had just a small sound on the speaker but nothing more... This morning I plugged a headset into the speaker external plug and also into the TRN plug, just...

Re: [Q7s] Popup of a joystick menu at startup 2.2.1
What voltage do you measure on the USB VCC pin? and i you follow that onto the mainboard? I do not think it is a safety issue. You could set the USB mode to Joystick in the radio settings menu to avoid having the popup and/or selecting storage by mistake (which disconnects the SD and locks the menu...

Re: [Q7s] Popup of a joystick menu at startup 2.2.1
After a complete check of the mother board and wiring, I cannot found any faulty thing... Really a mystery, let alone because it did not appear just after my mod. I checked with a multimeter if there is any link between USB's VCC pin and another + of the board, nothing at all. Very strange again. My...

[Q7s] Popup of a joystick menu at startup 2.2.1
Hello all, Yesterday I solder a couple of wires to install an external charge plug to my Q7s. I precise that I removed the main PCB to check the rear soldering of power pins. After re-installation of all, I found the sound not working anymore. I then checked all internal connections and plugs, I fou...

Thanks Kilrah for your prompt answer. I would have helped if I had any C++ programming skill.
Good job.

Re: T9x + AR9x board + OpenTx: Rotary Encoder issue
As I said in my last sentance, I have checked all these options of compilation but none of them looks relative to the Rotary Encoder. Would be the "potscroll" option ? I have to try. But not confident because even if not chosen in Companion firmware' options the RotEnc option appears in th...

T9x + AR9x board + OpenTx: Rotary Encoder issue
Hello all, I am not able to do my rotary encoder working on the T9x with the AR9X board (except the PB). OpenTx is ver. 2.1.9 but does not show the "RotEnc Navig" option in the Tx parameters' page DESPITE I can see it either in Companion and in the Simulator. I have checked the compilation...

Re: AR9X Board with OpenTx 2.X
1) Nobody ever worked on that. Contributions welcome. 2) You can do that with the 3 model timers. Thank you Kilrah, unfortunately for the first I am not skilled in software programming. Is it possible to copy/paste the code from Er9x to OpenTx ? Who is in charge of developing the OpenTx section lin...

Re: AR9X Board with OpenTx 2.X
Hi all, 1/ Looking for the support of additional EXT1/2/3 hardware inputs by OpenTx on this platform ? (To add more switches to the radio) 2/ Looking for a persistent flight hours counter for each model. For instance: the last flight duration, and the total flight duration. Is it still available by ...

Re: 9xtreme vs ar9x
First there was TH9X. This was then developed as er9x (by Erez). I got involved with er9x, did some developments on it, then took over the development when Erez stopped. Bertrand also did some developments on er9x, then decided to fork from it and do openTx. So many of the basic ideas of openTx and...

Re: 9xtreme vs ar9x
It was critical for me...as I am an OpenTx lover. I'm always interested in why you prefer openTx to er9x/ersky9x. What is there in openTx that is not in er9x/ersky9x that you need/use? Mike. Hello Mike, A simple story...from the beginning with the "Smartie Part" programmer board I started...

Re: RE: Re: 9xtreme vs ar9x
However Er9x/Ersky9x has been designed especially for the 9x and his developpement is still dynamic. Negative, sorry :) ;) ErsKy9x also runs on all flavours of the Taranis radio, including the X9E. João Hi João, Yes you're right. I wanted to highlight that initially the project was for the TH9X, no...

Re: 9xtreme vs ar9x
If it can help: the BIG difference is that the OpenTx software project is not supporting the 9Xtreme, then you cannot have OpenTx on this board. It was critical for me...as I am an OpenTx lover. I think the 9Xtreme + Ersky9X is more "hardware oriented", then allow more physical mods of you...

Re: AR9X + OpenTx 2.2 RC7 => SD card bug
Thanks for your always quick and good support Kilrah. Then I guess that the best is to wait the official realease ? Or is there any way to see the progress on Github for this topic ?Kilrah wrote:AR9X hasn't been taken care of on 2.2, you'll need to wait until it's reviewed and fixed, someone is on it.

AR9X + OpenTx 2.2 RC7 => SD card bug
Dear all, Following the realease of RC7, I am facing troubles during installation on my TH9X. I firstly tried to install it with Companion V2.2RC7 but I have an error message "Unknown error" when flashing the Tx (I have always used Companion with success before). Then I tried by the intern...

1) and 2) will be in OpenTX 2.2. https://github.com/opentx/opentx/pull/3555 https://github.com/opentx/opentx/pull/3556 3) Top bar refers to the home screen grey bar on Taranis. AR9X Board with OpenTx 2.X
Hi all, I am the happy owner of the recent AR9X bord from Flygear to make the Turnigy 9X "almost" :lol: ended than the Taranis and have some questions/suggestions about the OpenTx support of this board. I am currently using Opentx 2.1.8 with XJT external module + X8R + 3 SP sensors (Vario ...
