Re: Issues with the latest multimodule software.

Hi Mike, last erskytx and mutimodule version flashed. It works, problem has been fixed, now I can select the subprotocol without any problem. I still can see what you said about the name in the module and also in erskytx and it updating. For example with Devo protocol, when selecting the subprotocol...

Re: Issues with the latest multimodule software.

Update posted. Are you only using the multi-protocol module or are you also using a FrSky Tx module? If you go to the download page for the XM receiver, at the bottom is: "History firmware DOWNLOAD (not compatible with v2.x.x)". Click on that and you will get the V1 firmware for the XM Rx...

Re: Issues with the latest multimodule software.

Big thanks, Mike. I will update the erskytx as soon as you publish it. I have updated my modules today and I have just seen there is a newer version today, so will update that too, lol. Interesting that file you linked, thank you! I have been reading a lot about those tiny frsky receivers... So far ...

Re: Issues with the latest multimodule software.

Oh I see. I thought I screwed something. But I guess all of that means you will fix it at some point, right? I updated everything because I needed a 16ch receiver and I got a frsky XM, but I did not know there were 15 usable channels and a 16th for rssi. After googling for a while I found if I updat...

Ok, I answer myself. I've found the specs of that receiver and it is indeed flysky compatible. I ordered it, so if it not works I will report back, lol.

Cheap 16ch receiver! Compatible?

Hi friends, I have just seen this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000411589058.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.45ac3c00ovnDpy&mp=1 A 16 ch receiver that I can well use in one of my toys. Do you know if it is compatible with the multi module? I think (but I might be wrong) that the HG radios work with ...

Re: 9XR Pro Power Issue

Did you find a direct replacement? João Surprisingly I had one at home that fitted almost like a glove. It needed like a 1mm of sanding in the top plastic part of the switch, to be able to fit the cap, but besides that, it fitted great and works. My main radio is that 9xtreme you already know, this...

Re: Add 3 pos switches to plain 9x.

It looks like I did a change to allow an extra switch to be converted to 3-position, and this has upset the detection of PB1 and PB2. I've just posted a test version, for the '128, that should fix this. I don't have a '128 radio any more, but I found my '2561 wasn't detecting PB1 and PB2, but with ...

The buttons are round on/off buttons, not self springed, if it helps.

Re: Add 3 pos switches to plain 9x.

Check that without the switch pressed you have 5V between the switch connections (one is ground and the other should be pulled up by a resistor internal to the processor). If you don't see 5V, check the ground connection really is ground (perhaps measure the voltage on both sides of the switch to a...

Re: Add 3 pos switches to plain 9x.

Hi Mike, this time I need to add two buttons in the back of the radio. On-off buttons. How should I add them? So far I soldered a wire to the pin processor 35 and 43, as stated above, to one of the legs of that switch, and the other leg to ground (to the back of the radio) In the hardware menu I sel...

Re: Bad Eeprom error. 9xtreme/encoder.

Suggest, maybe it could be a hardware problem. If you have a bad switch or a bad chip it could be causing the troubles. Many years ago I had a new 9x that bricked when programing it and later found the selecting switches were corroded. After replacing several of the selecting switches, it worked OK...

Re: Bad Eeprom error. 9xtreme/encoder.

I have just checked on my 9xtreme radio. You do have a "Restore" option in the Radio "Settings / EEPROM" menu. You can use it to restore the EEprom you have saved to the SD Card. João Yes, but that is when the radio is working, not like the other days with the radio completelly ...

I think you can :) but not sure. I know we can backup the complete eeprom to the SD Card. I don't have the radio with me at the moment, but you can check in the Radio Settings/EEprom. You might have to unlock the menu by holding the left horizontal trim to the left at power ON. :) João Hi Joao, yes...

Re: Bad Eeprom error. 9xtreme/encoder.

I have been thinking about this and I have some ideas: Blocking access to the encoder removed most of the issues... Maybe you could block it until the splash screen is gone. Also another thing that would help a lot is to be able to restore the eeprom from the bootloader or from the maintenance mode....

Re: 9x Exit button size.

Just to point the button was damaged in shipping. It does not make the characteristic "click" when pressed anymore, and he has to press it very hard to make it work, so it looks like it needs to be replaced. Unfortunately I dont have more 9x radios so far except my extreme so I cannot meas...
