Re: Mlvss Lipo Voltage sensor MINI problems

You have to define the sensors as calculated. The 'Custom' are what got discovered as data from the sensor.

What sensor for voltage. If you were previously using 2.0.xx you may not realize you have to set telemetry 'calculated' telemetry to get the indiviual cells.

Re: Taranis x7 wont bind

The card warning ia just the version of the sounds file does not match what the system expects. The mostly likely symptom is something like Altitude being announced as degrees instead of feet or meters. Also some scripts such S6R can have updated functions. Down load the correct SD to go with releas...

Re: Newer to RC, want to get into the Taranis, need help

As matter of pickey-ness,, Telemetry is received as SPort not SBus. SBus is for addressable servos and gets 16 channels of information sent from the receiver to servo-like devices. Telemetry uses SPort where the receiver asks sensors for data and sensors ,if present, send data back to the receiver w...

Always turn on the transmitter FIRST.
This is a basic safety habit.
On an electric, turning on the receiver first can cause the prop to spin.

Always turn ON the transmitter FIRST.
Always turn OFF the transmitter LAST.

Posting your model file as an eepe or otx makes it easier for others to help.
We have no idea how your inputs or mixes are setup as stated above...or what the ls is that you set.

You do realize that to discover sensors you have to have the receiver bound and powered up with the sensors connected to to the receiver, right?

Those buttons are plastic and often break off their mounting posts and often do not come back up. Then you can't use that button and probably not any of the others in line with it.
My W.A. guess.

Re: Where did I see this weird setup?

I see no point in setting it that way. There is no use for any of the Inputs but the first one that is true. Since none of those inputs have a qualifier, A switch or curve, only the first Input does anything. There is no advantage to using Switch as a source in Inputs that I know of. A single Mix of...

Re: Have only 4 Channels available with Taranis / CC3D and FrSkyx4R, getting CRAZY

Nothing in mixer page in ch 5 thru 16 means there will be no channels coming out of ch 5 thru 16. You can use switches, pots and sliders as Source for Mixers. Mixer Ch 5 SD Weight (100) would give values for switch D 's 3 positions -100 SwDup 000 SwDmiddle -100 SwDdown You can get the X4R with 4 cha...

Information required to answer this includes:
What version of firmware is on your Taranis.
What sensors are you using.

The range will be the only thing that is difficult if you have a GPS. Probably impossible without.
A vario and speed sensor could give you altitude and speed..

The calibration data is in the eepe. So if you calibrate you transmitter. then read its .eepe into Companion it is in the data you read. It is in the Tab at the top labeled General Settings. Double click n General Setting and youcan examine (and modify it). General settings can be copied for one .ee...

Re: Loading basic mixer settings to Taranis Pro

There is no Taranis Pro, to my knowledge. There is a Taranis X9D and a Taranis X9D Plus. You don't identify what version of firmware on the transmitter you are running. It is not clear that you are using a version of Companion that is compatible with the version of firmware on the transmitter. If yo...

It matters which version of firmware the transmitter is running.
So you need to specify a version number.
Long Press Enter, then scroll with Page until version number shows. 2.0.x or 2.1.y

Companiion 2.0.19 and 2.1.7 both work fine on my multi boot Toshiba 64 bit with Unbunto 15.10 and did with 15.04 also. Never had to deal with DFU on Ubuntu.

agree with Rperkins and USB-3 seems to cause many more problems than USB-2. Dell computers also have mor problems than others.
