Re: How to program

Since I do not have a X9E, I've never tried to note any documentation specifically aimed at that tx. But the stuff on http://rcdiy.ca/blog/ is very good and current, but it is mostly for the QX7. Since the QX7 and X9E both have the rotary input device anything said for it will be mostly applicable. ...

Re: How to program

Nice recovery.
Yes, SD needs to be in sync with firmware.
OpenTx, Companion, SD and bootloader are best if all kept in sync.

Yes keep us posted.

Re: How to program

I haven't seen a diy project that would allow me to turn on right blink, then turn on head lights, then turn off right blink, then honk the horn with headlights still on then turn on left blink and headlights, then honk the horn....in any order I want with different combinations of horn, stop lights...

Re: How to program

On the transmitter side this does what you specified in close to the way you specified it. Again this is on companion, simulated and it works. (Note the mixes are REPLACE/:=, not the default ADD.) But now we need to know if you want to pursue this, given the problems on the receiver output side. As ...

Re: How to program

João A good looking project, but it is a DIY arduino project as I suggested. Cheap (realitively) standard RC switches can be had for 1 channel off the shelf from hobbyking, ebay or banggood and probably many other places. Back to the posters questions. If you have a X series receiver, you can add 4 ...

Re: How to program

But on to the second part of your question. There is no way to have one channel on the receiver control 3 different lights independently using only standard standard RC switches. There may be available off the shelf solutions for light systems for cars, but I know nothing of them. I do planes not ca...

Re: How to program

My example is from Companion on a PC, but yes, it can all be done on the transmitter(tx). Your transmitter has a pre-release version for its firmware. I do not remember the exact differences and would recommend updating to 2.2.0 which is a released version. The easiest way to do that is using Compan...

You do not say what firmware you are using.
For OpenTx, you could do

In the Mix edit screen under 'Curve' set it to Func, then use|x|
You will want to use 10 to 20% Weight probably and RUD as the source as a second mix under ELV

Re: 32 GB SD card Sandisk X9D plus problems 2.2.0

I wonder if anyone has used a partition on a SD before. Could this be confusing OpenTX? I use a 32gb FAT32 with no problems. It is a Patriot 32gb, but no partition. It seems to me it is either a hardware problem or the partitioning of the SD. You could eliminate the possibility of the partition caus...

Re: Taranis custom lua

There is no firmware 2.20. There is a 2.0.20 and a 2.2.0, If it is the latter, rename the lua files to be 6.3, names abcdefg.lua is 7.3 and will not work on 2.2.0, but would on2.0.20. abcdef.lua would work on both. But I'm not sure what you mean by mis-spelled. Maybe non ascii characters in the name?

Ohh, and Andy This is am older version of SOUNDS...it has several files that have names longer than 6.3 These must be renamed to 6.3 format to be played on 2.2.0 firmware. I don't know of anyone that has already done this. So can't provide link. Since you only need to replace the SOUNDS folder with ...

Just checked, you can use those images I posted for splash screens. Companion now can process .png files.

If appearances count, it looks like you have liftoff!

Your move.

I can email you .bmp of Snoopy....and words you want instead of what I put in.
I believe the format 212x64 pixel images with a grey scale depth of 4 bits. But not confirm the 4 bits, it may be 2 bits so we may have to experiment on that.

Re: Newbie .OMG,bitten off way to much

Very hard to completely brick it so it is not recoverable. But it is scary. yeah, you know how I know what it feels like. OK, probably bricked because you downloaded the wrong firmware. Re: Newbie .OMG,bitten off way to much

The splash screen is part of the firmware. So after you have got firmware downloaded, you will have to do it again to get snoopy in it. I've used snoopy in my X9D..or Alf. Re: Newbie .OMG,bitten off way to much

The contents of the folder FIRMWARE on the SD does not necessarily reflect the firmware in the transmitters memory. It may, in fact probably, does, but that folder could also contain 2.1.5, 2.0.20, and 2.2.0 if you wanted it to, They are just files in a folder. I do not recognize the words " configu...

I'm not sure what text you are talking about, but the LCD display language is selected when you select what firmware to download to the transmitter....it has nothing to do with the SD. That is switch H, there is no dedicated switch names like 'Trainer Switch', it is just a momentary switch that you can setup how ever you want, trainer is a posibility but not a given.

You have to define the sensors as calculated. The 'Custom' are what got discovered as data from the sensor.
